This week Kenneth Horne spots an advertisement in his copy of “The Posing Brief Collectors Trade Journal” which read “Whatever your pleasure complete it at Le Casserole de Bona Gourmet, Islington”. So he decided to give it a whirl.
In this Episode:
“Whatever your pleasure complete it . . .” – a reference to the tagline for vintage advertisements for Players Cigarettes “Whatever the pleasure Player’s complete it”.
“mangiari” – italian, “to eat”.
“mâcon” – french, wine region in Southern Burgundy, France, primarily known for producing dry white wines.
From the BBC radio comedy series Round the Horne, Series 3 Programme 15, first broadcast on 21st May 1967.
