  1. Just remember with a morel mushroom, they are mildly hallucinogenic. They need to be sautéed or cooked for at least 10 minutes before consuming and also if you sauté them in a pan do not breathe in the fumes. You should always turn the hood on over your stove due to the fact that the fumes can be somewhat toxic. I actually have 12 fresh morels in my refrigerator right now waiting for me to cook.. there really is only two months out of the year. They’re good for hunting.

  2. Up in Washington, all you need is a rainy day, and the woods become all you can eat. Where I am particularly, I get a lot of oyster mushrooms, morels, and shaggy mane.

  3. My mate boiled 500 mushrooms in a tea pot once..they had long stems with a dark nipple on top..it was September, October in the west of Ireland..what can I say.. we drank the tea, and i found myself thinking I was on the cover of a Jimi Hendrix album cover…don't do it kids, beware the musshies…

  4. Not sure if anyone would answer this but is there any cleaner ways to clean mushroom while not deteriorating them other than using brushes? I live in a not quite clean country, and eating mushroom without washing in salt water multiple times will guarantee a one-way ticket to a morgue

  5. håhåhå, just close your eyes and taste the mushrooms. That is the worst recommendation I have ever heard in my life. 🙂 Whenever we went on mushroom trips when I was a child, they essentially had me on a leash to prevent me from doing just that.
