We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – an amateur, a home cook, and a professional – to prepare a salmon dish of their choice. After each of them had offered up their creation, we asked a food scientist to review their work. Which salmon looks the most slammin’?

I really wish the level 3 chef made salmon en croute
I feel like Lorenzo could be a level 3, but he’s just not “fancy” enough. He’s got level 3 skillz, but homecook vibes. And I’m here for it!
Ngl forgot what we were cooking until they brought out the salmon
Lorenzo gets more and more funny every time I watch him.
Simple hack for cutting (lots of) cherry tomato’s: place them under the lid of the package and then cut underneath the lid while your hand is pressing on the lid.
Same idea, but you use the lid of the package as a safe guard. Hope it helps 😊👍
Level One tell: no hairnet
These Level 1 chefs are actors. There's no way any amateur had this confidence and wit. Also, she's pretty. Also, she says she cut her finger and she clearly did not. ————————> Actress.
Anyone who knows how to cook doesn't need all these… we have different taste buds. Just make it simple, chefs at times make easy recipes look unnecessarily complicated. 😢
Level 1 looks the best. None of the meals look well portioned though.
Frank doesn't use a fishing rod …he hand catches then lullabys the fish to sleep for the most flavor 😂❤❤ love frank hes awesome
I love Lorenzo, but that's not Crispy
Put a tupperware lid (or small cutting board) on top of the cherry tomatoes to hold them in place with one hand, then use you other hand to cut parallel to the lid and the counter through a few dozen tomatoes at once.

Even the plating is spot on
I marinate my salmon in blush wine vinaigrette for 1 hr, cook in 425° oven for 11 minutes.
i don’t understand it says 4 levels but there’s only 3 cooks?
drop the beard big boy
Honestly, this might be my least favourite Level 3 dish of all time
What a disaster.
Lorenzo is clearly a level 1 chef.
I’m also really disappointed in Rose for not mentioning the health hazard of an aluminum wok. It straight up dangerous for your health.
Shame on Epicurious for putting out such a misleading video.
Rosemary Trout, perfect name for the video
Omg i haven't seen lianna before! But i love her 😂 she makes laugh sooo hard her funny confidence is amazing!
Level 1 chef Liana is holding her knife incorrectly probably why she keeps cutting herself
Kelvin is such a cool name!
5:13 … What's the logic there lol?
Is the Latino guy working for ICE?
