Some of these seemed like a clever re-use of a box of mac'n'cheese….. Some of these really felt forced… just using the cheese powder? What happened to the rest of the box?
Great recipes that I will definitely be trying out. I love that your "pinch" of salt is exactly that! So many chefs demonstrate the Donnie Brasco "punch" of salt and overdo it.

Soooo…. Elevate the box Mac by not using all of the ingredients in the box and use spaghetti for one of them ??
Here in Australia, Kraft used to have the mac'n'cheese delux, where it had a tin of actual cheese instead of the powder packet (We haven't had Kraft Mac since they got rid of it because the powder stuff tastes like a dead dingo's donga and life is too short to eat powdered cheese) but you make the delux to packet directions and add a 400g tin of tuna in spring water just before adding the cheese and it is delicious!!!
