Have you ever been to Lyon? Which city should I visit next? 🌿👀
I haven't watched the video yet, but we spent a week in Lyon last autumn and went to a vegan bakery there called Zoi probably at least every other day. And we would get some more pastries to go as well because they were just so heavenly tasting 🤤 I still think about it at least once a week. So if any vegans are inspired to visit Lyon, don't miss Zoi!
My anxiety is way to high to travel so I live through you, cheers for that!
I am french and very often go to Lyon for work (I live 2 hours away by train, in Montpellier). Vegan options really expanded in the biggest French cities that are not Paris (where you could always find options since like 2010), it is amazing! Lyon is the 3rd French city so I'm not surprised they have so many options.
La Vie is a VERY popular brand in France. We also have Heura that is good. But all of this brands are not easy to find everywhere outside bigger cities
That tofu tempura looks amazing 🤤
all the food looked so good!!
" the duality of man" Love your philosophizing and sense of humor ❤
I’m currently traveling and trying out the vegan options in San Francisco, inspired by you!
It's wild to see people visit Lyon, because I've lived there for a decade but have seen a radically different side of the city! Like I never took the time to go to the museums, but also my experience of the old Lyon is radically different (as a tourist it's charming, for locals involved in activism it's a hotbed of far right groups and bars, a place to avoid when its dark on protest days). I've also seen the vegan options explode over the years, it used to be there would be one single type of vegetarian breaded patty available in the supermarket and now you can get all sorts of vegan meats and cheeses. Anyways my fav restaurant there is an Ethiopian place called le Messob, theyre not only veggie but they have a vegan platter, the food is absolutely excellent!
I recommend using a knife, if eating only with a fork is too difficult.
So sad that you didn't have a good experience at Gustavo. They started in Grenoble, where I live, and they're always full. The fries are soooo good, they have the most perfect tofu nuggets and the vebab is always so good.
Thank you for sharing, I'm always happy to see cities with vegan options. I'm curious about small cities, like in the province…is it possible to find vegan options there? I'm not sure if there are accidentally vegan French food.
Well I guess I'm hungry now
This is a little bit off topic, but I can’t take my look off your beautiful blue eyes
Random thing, but I got an ad for a meat company as one of the ads in this video. I know the ads are nothing to do with Gittemary. I'm just amused at the algorithm thinking an ad for a meat company was a good fit for a video with the word "vegan" in the title.
Omg you were in my city ! Where did you but the art piece ?
Your prononciation if crème anglaise : nailed it 🫶 thx so much for this video
I visited Lyon with my family two years ago while in Interrail. As someone who speaks French and likes France as a country but has never been a fan of Paris, Lyon really impressed me. The city has a beautiful light that I have never seen anywhere else, and the Roman ruins were fabulous. I really want to visit again.
guuuuurllll that coat is FIRE – it looks so good on you! (desperately commenting on the coat to stop myself getting hungry from all the delicious food you're sharing)
This coat is so cool!
Fantastiskt 😊 Videon får mig att vilja boka en resa till Lyon direkt och äta massor 😂 känns som det oftast blir det jag spenderar pengarna på när jag reser.
Kom till Sverige så kan vi äta veganskt ihop 😃
Always love seeing the foods 🙂
Very good subscribe chasz you two much money
Another YouTuber I like talked about her struggles being vegan in France: my favorite story of hers is that she bought hummus one day at the grocery store, and it turned out to have cheese in it…🙃
Also, congrats on finding the new shirt: keep the old one as a source for subtle patches when the new one wears out!
Also, BUT WHAT WAS THE ART THO??
i lived in france for 13 months, travelled all across the country, and the one city that left me looking up apartment ads and truly considering moving there was lyon 🙂 it is a magical place.
This was fun! 🎉I've never been, so it was great to see the sights and the food. 😊
I own the same silk shirt! Thrifted as well!!!
