Also featuring another menu at the end of the video: Royal Thai Wolfish – produced in 2008, a tad newer than the 2006 Wolfish Casserole as the main presentation. These are above and beyond quality menus, and much like Reindeer Casserole or the French Ostrich with Cranberries, this was an expensive ration that was eventually replaced with lower cost mains. Part of the FR-2000 series 24 hour ration, this is just the dinner unit. A full 24hr ration presentation of the FR-2000 will be shown sometime in the future.

  1. Steve, your videos are a great example of quality Youtube. No ads or asking for likes and subs. The content stands on its own and always has.
ASMR + history and scratches the 'what's in the bag?' itch. Great descriptions of flavor… truly THE Sommelier of MREs.
Thank you for your passion and hard work!
Now let's get this out onto a tray!

  2. So, decades ago my Scout Troop had a wet weather backpacking trip, and by the time we reached our campsite we were cold, tired and soaked. We needed something warm to drink, but all that we had was lemonade mix. From that day on, hot lemonade has been a staple of my cold weather backpacking and hiking load out.

  3. Watching this I was eating mac and cheese with fish sticks hearing Steve explain it I felt like I was at a gourmet restaurant

  4. Steve, after all these videos and all these years, i still love "Nice hiss", "Lets get this out on a tray", and the little sound difference when you tap the spoon after stirring the drinks. Thanks for remaining an awesome youtuber!
