I feel real bad because this is one person cooking everything. Most restaurants have several cooks, one for each station which tends to make things easier. This is one guy.
I ate here last year. It was incredibly fancy, but just wasn't for me. It was right around $300 per person and they brought you multiple plates over a couple hour span. The food wasn't really anything bizarre. It was mostly all minimalist plates made with normal everyday ingredients, just cooked and stylized incredibly well. When I say minimalist plates I mean like a single piece of asparagus on a plate with a tiny half teaspoon of sauce on the side. I showed up hungry and left several hours later even hungrier. It was an interesting experience, but was it worth the price? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck no. This is a place for rich people to take their rich friends to impress each other and nothing more.

That’s exciting. I’ve worked in restaurants before but definitely not a Michelin rated one.

I’m going to try to go this October. Bday dinner for me and my son.
How much does an entry level line cook make at a place like this per year? Roughly
“I pretend my work has value to normal people. I call it art. They just go home and take a poop after paying a stupid amount of money.”
This isn’t a job. You’re catering to a class of people. You make food. People will tire of this pretentious crap.
Bro really filming in a culinary environment with that dirty phone. Hopefully bro washed his hands 😭💀💀
I heard you don’t get paid when you apprentice at a Michelin star restaurant
As a chef myself i hate fine dining. But good for you man. Keep it up!
Um, no hairnet? Seriously? Subtract one star. 👀
I say use a KFC bucket as a toque. 😂
Are you on the menu😼
Keep it up chef❤❤❤.you are doing great
How did you find time to film?
12 hr shift? How often a week? 4-5 days? Theres no way and if so, you are highly undervalued for your work at that restaurant. All line cooks sadly
Congratulations!
if there's no time to waste, how do you have time to set up yourself and camera for all these shots?
Omg u are handsome
Boooooorring
12 hours a day 😳😳 man that’s almost modern day slavery
We are 3 people serving 200+ some nights. . 100 staff for 200 is absolutely crazy work! And 12hshifts on this? Craaazy
