I am compelled to respond to your comment about renting a Cyber Truck. I can’t believe people are going nuts over Tesla products. These mental midgets have little or no clue about the greatness of Elon Musk’s ventures. Imagine, not three years ago, he was the darling of the left. Then, he had the audacity to speak kindly about Trump. I have a friend who leans so far to the left that she almost falls over when she walks. Though she is highly intelligent, she lacks common sense. Strangely, she is still a good friend. She has Trump derangement syndrome. Love seeing the ups, the downs and mistakes/ troubles on your trips. Puts it all into prospective, it’s real camping! I would be so stressed and miserable and in complete disarray if I went out in weather like that. Not to mention my dogs would hate me 😅

Hi Tony – looking at Bernie making your tent damp, I had a thought – perhaps bring another small tarp with you and secure it over all the sleeping stuff when you set the tent up, let Bernie sleep on top of it whenever he wants (with sleeping pad set up under it maybe), then once you've dried him off for bedtime, put the tarp away.

Hello Tony & Bernie, You prove once again that your tenting & camping skills are top notch, evidenced by that tent & tarp withstanding all the pounding that was unleashed on this night, but you paid the price, Tony, by carrying that heavy backpack for 3 hours to the tops and then getting chilled in the process of setting your campsite. Your skills are clearly top notch and Bernie enjoyed himself every step of the way. I hope your back is better and have recovered in time for your anniversary cruise.

Reminds me of a camp my husband & i did about 20 years ago in Snowdonia…..
Early November, absolutely freezing cold…..mapped out our walk which was 10 miles and the end was near a bothy……luckily plenty of dry dead wood around for a fire……had our Jack Russell wiv us……
Got about 7 miles in when the weather started to turn so we made our way back to the bothy…..set out tent & tarp up & got sorted out……was pitch black by 4pm….
By 6.30pm the wind & rain was SO bad we had to take the tent & tarp down & head for the bothy….
Best 48 hours 'camp' we ever had……fortunately had enough food, water and wood to see us through….had a soild sheet of rain from 7pm right through the next day & night .
Had a book each with us and a wind up radio for entertainment….and the 'facilities' were just outside in the wood shed & under cover so we didn't get too wet….
We were, however, glad to get back to the camper van for a decent shower on the 3rd day……thank God it was still where we'd parked up 48.hrs previously……
We can't do the tent camping any more due to health issues but do hire s camper van & go off for long weekends now our daughter is in her late teens…..
Now it's a decrease in quality and an increase in prices. There is no reason to buy genuine products, it's better to buy counterfeit products with even better quality than genuine ones kisluxs

I remember the 1st time I went camping in the mountains many years ago now. I surely did not expect the way the day unfolded and for anyone reading this, words cant really describe this, its something you have to experience to get the full effect…. Waking up about 6am the 1st day and thinking it would be a normal morning and it was as far as breakfast, coffee etc…. and waiting for the crack of daylight like back home,,, waiting and waiting and….. waiting,,,, what the heck time is it,,,, 8am and its still like pretty dark – WTH…. STRANGE !!! Well it was like still dawn until about 11 am when it started to get a bit lighter and still no sun,,, 12 noon, 1 pm, 1:30 pm…. still no sun although I could tell its up somewhere – LOL I did not see the sun until like 2pm and I thought FINALLY,, but then 4pm its getting dark like this morning – WOW !!! Only 2 hours to sunlight and dusk is setting in,,, this is crazy,,, yep it gets light late and dark early in the mountains – at least where I was,, very strange,,, I dont know if I could live there like that but I feel I could do the 6mo light and 6 months dark up north,,, at least I think I could because I would be expecting it,,, camping in the mountains – that was totally unexpected and I wonder how do people get things done with only 2 hours of sunlight in the daytime – just thinking about that makes me tired,, seems like something that takes a lot of getting used to or be born into it – otherwise it would feel like you are walking around all day with sleep aid pills kicking in all groggy or something like that – LOL ….. Only 2 hours of sunlight was very strange for my 1st time being in the trees its even darker…. Thanks for the video – Stay Safe Out There and say HI to Bernie for me !!!!

Gaga for those little birds. I am having burgers tonight, we are making cheese burgers macca's style and bacon delux hungry J style we have them mastered and the only difference is we know exactly whats in them but they taste spot on.
