Looking for a great yet affordable fish restaurant in Paris? 🐟🍷
In this episode of Paris Top Tips, I review Fichon, a stylish and welcoming spot in the 18th arrondissement that combines fresh seafood with a solid wine list — all without breaking the bank.

As a self-proclaimed meat lover, I don’t usually go for fish restaurants… and in Paris, good ones are often expensive. But Fichon surprised me — in the best way.

📍 Location: Northern Montmartre, easy access via metro lines 4 and 12
💶 Price: Around €30 per person for lunch
⭐ My score: 15.9/20

What I loved:
▲ Excellent, flavorful dishes
▲ Friendly and joyful service
▲ Stylish, nautical-inspired decor
▲ Reasonable prices for a seafood-focused restaurant

What to keep in mind:
▼ The lunch menu is more limited than dinner

Whether you’re a seafood fan or just curious about Paris’ more affordable gourmet spots, Fichon is worth a visit.

  1. OMG! This was my neighborhood for many years! I lived on Rue Marcadet! I loved this restaurant! Thank you so much for this video, you have giving me so many great memories of Le 18e. Happy to see you enjoyed it! ❤ Merci.

  2. Although I haven't watched this video before but he is talking about a restaurant in France, which is called FISHON,which kinda sounds sort of funny, but French restaurant's, generally speaking are very expensive, there portions are very petit,or small in English,France isn't known for world-class seafood, unless you live near the coast. I avoid French places, like some other places, which I won't mention. And I won't travel to France, because no matter where you go, expect to spend top dollar, rather stay in NYC,where you can get exceptional things at the same quality, minus the price tag, piece of mind,as I call it. Being an educated person is 1st thing on my mind, not getting ripped off, with my own eyes wide open, no way JOSE.
