End of a long week and a simple meal is called for. .. you’re tired and you just don’t want to do the all gourmet BS. Right???
I stumbled onto the Hake at the market. Why not? It is a substitute for Cod which is ridiculously $10 per pound higher. You know what? It is a very good choice! A firmer fish for sure. I put a simple Salt, Pepper and Za’atar seasoning on it about 20 mins out. 450⁰ degree oven for about 15 mins to 140⁰ internal temp. I still over cooked it but the seasoning saved it.
Again, the boring theme, rice and sauteed zukes to round it out. Had a nice French rosé..
Around the table, we all loved the dish and just downloaded on the day and week..
