I tested the Homesmart 2-in-1 Air Fryer that claims to actually fry (or grill) as well as air fry.
From eggs to steak, mozzarella sticks, and even dessert — I put it through its paces!
Can it really replace your pan and air fryer in one? Let’s find out.

  1. These sorts of appliances are good for tiny homes or bedsits which don't have proper cooking facilities but next to useless in a normally appointed kitchen 😅

  2. If you could do both at the same time it woukd be useful.
As it is pointless, unless you have a tiny kitchen with no stove

  3. The sound of the machine running after you have "turned it off" (timer is zeroed out) I believe it so the machine can cool off some and will eventually turn off after it cools off to its "safe" temp.

  4. The error code "ES" on a HomeArt air fryer typically indicates a problem with the temperature sensor. This could mean the sensor is faulty or there's an issue with the connection between the sensor and the air fryer's control board. To resolve this, you may need to contact HomeArt customer support for assistance. 😋 I did, for the first time, made a ribeye steak in the air fryer. It turned out Amazing. Tender and juicy. I just popped it into a pan at the end to put the crust on each side. I could have done that in the air fryer too because I have one with an oven setting but I just did what I know. lol I just did it on 150 and did about seven minutes on each side. It came out medium rare which is my favorite. The fan runs after you power it off to cool it down. It shuts off in a few seconds.

  5. I’m concerned you can’t use logic to work out why the fan continues… literally every built in oven fan runs after you turn it off to cool it down 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

  6. Dude good air fryer with manual shut off… I understand the "'Push' the button" button… When I was young we went to the Shopping mall and when I was standing next to the Escalator and there was a red button on the escalator that had a push on it and guess what I did… Back then It said push for emergency stop… Man the funniest thing ever…

  7. The buttons on the front are very classic, I remember my grandads air fryer from the 70’s and they were exactly the same!

  8. I am wondering about heat retention. Is there a gap at the top of the drawer where heat escapes? I’d be curious for you to do a neck and neck with an enclosed air fryer and see if 200 degrees cooking the same thing produces the same results or if the glass plus a gap means it doesn’t retain heat as well as an enclosed plastic/metal housing does.

  9. I love air fryers. There are 2 stages of cooking I like to do on an air fryer. The main cooking stage is and the stage using the residual heat after the heating coil is off. My Philips air fryer completely turns off everything fan and all once the timer reaches zero. That’s the way I like it as the residual heat from the heating coils are important for some foods. I.e… you want to melt some cheese slowly while you are prepping other food.

  10. Our oven runs the fan after you turn it of to cool it down before shuting of compleatly. Might be something similar with this airfryer?

  11. Wow, I'd never use the Frying pan feature but the ability to flip the element onto the outside is a game changer for cleaning.

  12. The dashes on the display means the Heating element is OFF.The fan stays running as part of the
" Cool Down Cycle ". Just like most Air fryers

  13. Barry! It’s an over run fan to stop it overheating! Most air fryer will do it when the timer runs out and yours will go off when the heating element has cooled slightly

  14. Yeah the fan keeps going after you turn off the appliance to help it cool down to a safety temp., then it will shot down on itself. I have an induction stove and it works that way

  15. 18:23 I've not seen "clotted cream" here in the US (though I've never looked for it), and the Google search I did just now seems to indicate that it's very much just a UK thing. I imagine you can find it elsewhere, but as far as I can tell, there really isn't any comparison or alternate names for it outside the UK.

  16. how many years have you had an airfryer now barry? and you still forget they got a fan to cool things down after cooking. it supposed to do that so it cools down faster.
    also its e 5 not e s :P.

  17. get a ninja speedi, does whole meals without flipping plates etc, in 20-25 mins. look it up. works great. clean it by putting it on the 10 min steam function. it has a good 12 functions on it. the steam crisp function is mind blowing.

  18. This video is nothing for the faint-hearted. How about you start reading manuals before making a review…HUH? I'm gone at 4:06. Ciao Bello.

  19. It's interesting, but the PAN looks super dangerous. I mean, it's too easy to knock off of the heating element and that heating element reaches extreme temperatures. So so does the pan you could end up with third degree burns depending on what you're cooking on there, it could splatter on you, it's just not safe. There's no way for it to lock into place?

  20. Have you thought that the heat goes off when you turn it off and the fan may continue to run till a thermostat cools down, then it will turn off. Furnices work that way. The heating element turns off when the thermo reaches the temp you set, then the heating element turns off, however, the air handler fan continues to run till a other internal temp sensor has been satisfied and then the fan turns off. Cars do the same. Electric radiator fans continue to run after turning off the ignition.

  21. Don't be afraid of seasoning! The peas needed salt, pepper & butter. Everything else just got a tease of seasoning! 😂
Needs some small pats of butter put on top of the crumble to add flavor and not be so DRY! 👍😁👍

  22. its good your right but a 2nd element for the top would of been cleaver and probs pretty easy I would of thought to add, definitely not for the kids to use but in a small kitchenette type place this would be stonking😉

  23. Barry seems like a genuinely nice dude but he's a few kangaroos short of a mob. I'm from the US and have no clue if that joke was funny to our friends down under😀.
