In this video, I searched for the best croissant in Paris by visiting 9 of the most talked-about bakeries: Liberté, Le Pain Retrouvé, Maison Louvard, Philippe Conticini, The French Bastards, L’Éclair de Génie, BO&MIE, La Maison d’Isabelle, and Cédric Grolet. I tried their best-selling croissants and ranked them based on taste, texture, and value. Some were cheap, some were pricey… but which one was worth it?

  1. Ah yes the croissant not even French, they where invented in the 13th century Austria and called kipferl, they still sell the original in Austria.

  2. Paris is truly too small. I saw the boulangerie beside my old flat, the one beside my new flat, and the one beside my dog's vet. Terrifying

  3. French person here: so sad I didn't run into you!! About croissants' greasy crumbs: those were my parents' pet peeve in the car… 😅

  4. Harrison, I wasted my drunk easter Sunday to count your croissant count, its 58 after your " something something croissant, so i think ignore the first 2" (60 including) and i win.
I don't want a reward, just at least a Guinness. in my fav pub in london.

  5. La maison d'isabelle is the best one but you kinda have to get them warm (also comparing plain croissant to flavored ones is comparing different things!)

  6. my brain is fried, but its like 62-64 times you said croissant, at this point the word has lost all meaning to me :I

  7. As a French Parisian, i love la Maison d’isabelle, but carton near fare du nord is the best. Cedric is definitely overrated and although the croissant is good, it’s not great. The best one is from x Also it’s typical for a French family to go through 3 baguettes a day, one for each meal, although these are often purchased separately as baguettes have a short shelf life as preservatives are banned. And yes, the crookie is only ever bought by tourists and Imo isn’t great

  8. you only go to a few shops so when are you going to try the rest, to state the best you have to try every single one not just the pathetic few you had
