  2. Well she's probably making a huge batch of dough and getting 10+ loaves from a batch. Sourdough is easier in the sense that it doesn't have to be actively kneaded. Mix, leave, and do some stretches and folds while it ferments, then shape and bake. Not saying it's easy, just saying she's not making one loaf at a time.

  3. I get my sourdough bread from a woman who bakes it out of her house too (in WA state) and it’s literally perfection. I love small businesses/cottage bakers!

  4. ok sourdough toasted with jam and cream, scone style, is the best low key sweet snack ever in a pinch
