caffé macchiato all day! If I don't say "Late" I don't want a Late and this explains why when I order a caffé macchiato, I get a Late sometimes…annoys the hell out of me.
Yeah you could technically call it an espresso macchiato if you really wanted to justify it, but that “Starbucks style” macchiato is just an upside-down latte. Rather I feel like it’s easier to understand how the drink is composed if you describe it like that
THANK YOU at my job back in the day, if you didn't make a macchiato that was basically a mini cappuccino (an espresso with a dollop of foamed milk) it was like, sacrilegious hahaha😂 Big nono… When we learned what Starbucks was doing it was a shocker! NOT a real macchiato AT ALL 😂 They made up a drink and stole the name from an already solid beverage ☕🤣
Anyone know of there’s a difference between “espresso macchiato” and “espresso con schiuma”? Whenever I visit Sicily, this is what I hear locals occasionally order, and it seems like the same drink.
We should normalise saying "espresso macchiato" and "latte macchiato" and when someone just says "macchiato" ask: "espresso or latte?" – just like it should be normal that we say "vodka martini" or "gin martini" and if someone just says "martini" you hand them a glass of vermouth lol

its like a cover, you sing a song from other artist publicly but with a touch of your version
ok so basically a latte
It’s just coffee, stop making it so complicated. All coffee tastes like shit
In spain we have something dimilar to the expreso machiato, its called "cortado" expreso with a bit of milk
I wish you had the product links in the description. Ie tamper
No conflict. Espresso Macchiato. Latté Macchiato. 2 different drinks.
Espresso macchiato is my vibe
É aquela história… ‘Quero um pingado!’ Pingado de leite ou de café?
Isn’t that just an unstirred latte?
Mockyoddo
I just call it a Carmel macchiato because of the extra Carmel on top
Cool but how do I actually make it?
☕☕🟧
Mi amore mi amore expreso macchiato
I'd call the second one a Réviato, Meaning "Reverse" and "Macchiato."
🪙
What was the clear liquid he measured it shot pourer
ma kija? ma kija to w d*pie
So it’s sweet milk. Gee now I don’t want one.
Thank you. Bc i did not know this at all.
Bro that latte one – looks like a diabetic coma
As a linguistics nerd, this is fun
wouldn't that just be a latte then?
this looked insanely easy to make, too bad i don't like caramel 😭 i wish there was a version of this with a different flavor
I think the issue is the second is exactly what a Latte is (for Italians) that would be Latte macchiato.
Gonna piss off the Starbucks barristas with this
Wow another word misunderstood and misused by the Americans. So surprising
In my country, latte macchiato is called "lagrima" which means "tear", because it has just a drop of coffee.
The espresso coming out of the machine 😅
What machine is he using?
Manchado

your caffe macchiato is a "schiumato", you need a bit more milk for macchiato
So that’s why I thought it was so bitter when I ordered a macchiato back in Italy. I get it now-

Espresso macchiato all the way!!!!

Your macchiato wasn’t a real one either. “Dollop of cappucino foam” on top, that was a puddle of warm milk piss.
in Australia the first one is a long macchiato, though a short macchiato is still a shot of coffee but with double the milk 🙂
