What a week we must share with you!!
Merlot has a couple of nights away at Nanna and Grandpas this week as we take a trip inland to stay with Jane & Tony from Not Quite a Chateau DIY French Project and we get treated to a visit to meet Patrick and Stuart at Chateau de Colombe!
We return home where Clare swings into action and decides it is time for a quick 48 hour room make over before cooking up a storm in the kitchen with a great bit on the side – dish!
And of course it is time for the yellow room reveal!!
And what an astonishing transformation it is…

Did you have a good time with Tony and Jane, Patrick and Stuart? Your pear and potato dish looks delicious. I do an apple and potato casserole with crispy bacon called Himmel und Erdt, Heaven and earth. You guys work very hard and it shows. ❤❤ I love that you found a desk and chair to save your body from undo pain. The office looks great.

Very nicely put together Clare, I wasn’t sure about the chandelier at first I must admit, but shouldn’t have doubted you. Cork board looks amazing not out of place, as with everything else looks spiffy. Aptly named “Champagne Room “. 👏👏😉❤️

I love love love the yellow bedroom. It's so beautiful! I love the decor too. Btw your channel and Patrick and Stuart are a toss up as to which one is my favorite. I have seen all the things you showed from their chateau. I wish you filmed Jane and Tonys chateau because I've never watched them. Great job on your work room.

I love the yellow room! The mirror is gorgeous, the chaise as well; your corks are so clever; the wardrobe looks perfect; the light fixture as well! Your new editing room is also wonderful, and the gas mask is especially fun!

Yep, I like how the yellow room turned out! I was a bit apprehensive about the black, until I saw it all come together. It's a nice space now, very warm and cosy looking. Your editing suite is great, what a difference that paint job made! You'll be a lot more comfortable now Clare. Great to see you over at Tony and Janes, and over at Chateau de Colombe. Looks like you had a very entertaining visit!

Like the way the wallpaper in the green study has given a texture effect it makes it look much nicer than a flat bland look

I like the wallpaper in the room you are going to use as an office. The dark green paint doesn’t help with the lack of light in the room, but it looks very good because the wallpaper’s texture shows through and I really like that.
