Best Weekend Crème Brûlée Breakfast ✨🍞☕

The best part of the weekend? Slow mornings and indulgent breakfasts! Unlike the rushed 5-minute weekday meals, this one lets you savor every bite. And trust me, good breakfasts take time.

Let me share one of my favorite weekend treats—Crème Brûlée French Toast!

Ingredients:
🍞 4 thick slices stale or toasted brioche bread
🥚 2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
🍚 2 tbsp icing sugar
🥛 ½ cup full-fat milk
🧈 ½ cup double cream
🍯 2 tbsp brown sugar
🧈 Butter for cooking

Method:
1️⃣ Whisk together milk, double cream, eggs, and sugar to make the custard.
2️⃣ Pour over the brioche slices and let them soak for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
3️⃣ Melt butter in a pan, then add brown sugar and let it caramelize.
4️⃣ Place the soaked bread over the caramelized sugar and cook for 4 minutes on one side only. The caramelized side should face up when serving.
5️⃣ Serve with maple syrup, crème fraîche, fresh berries, and a sprinkle of pumpkin.

Enjoy on its own or pair it with your morning tea or coffee! ☕✨
