Hi! 🙂 Im from Switzerland: and im voting for the Chicago Version. I made 2 of these geniallity bastards ❤😂 So tasty. First time i eat a Hotdog with raw onions.
Tomatoes? 1st time. And f..kn. pickles?! What a Harmony! Try it!
I’m an American and I love ketchup on my hot dogs
Bunnings dogs are iconic. The reason goes beyond the awesome taste and satisfaction. Your trip to Bunnings Hardware often ends with mild disappointment because they didn’t quite have what you wanted. So that’s why the snags afterwards cheer you up….along with being delicious
Amen! No beans necessary on a chili dog! It’s just another starch on a starch and has conflicting textures—unnecessary.
In Denmark we have REAL mustard its brown and not the yellow untasty stof yellow mustard is borring and have NO taste at all ist a kids thing 😂😂
Great Hot Dog vid! All look great!
Wtf is that red cased hotdog?
Try Brazilian dogão
Great hotdog list but nothing comes close to beating a Bunnings snag.
Why are those sausages so red?
How is it aussie when you call it ketchup. Cmon man
It makes MUCH more sense to slice the bun the way you did. As a child, i hated the pre-sliced buns because the "hinge" would give way leaking condiments and additions. Not to mention getting gummy from the boiled hot dog, sweet relish juice, and mustard/ketchup.
don't laugh at me, please, but I really like the Harry de Wheels Chilli Dog
the buns are mainly cut down the side however we also use top-cut buns.
In California and with the type of rectangular shaped bun, that would be a lobster roll cut.
You should try a Sonoran hot dog. Only one place they're made
Is the USA we have both top cut and side cut buns, however the top cut are always more expensive must take more time to make or a sharper knife idk 😅😂✌🏻❤️
My entire childhood I’ve been eating hotdogs Australian style
This reminds me of when I went to Newtown Jets at Henson Park in Sydney and asked for a hot dog as a load of sausages sizzled on a hot plate. The fella serving refused to acknowledge this, telling me it was called a sausage on a roll. I said that it was bread so couldn't possibly be called a roll. In the end I had to succumb to the SOAR chat so I could eat. Thankfully no Pom/aussie issues with ordering beer!
9:44 was actually laughing out loud
Chili dog always needs mustard
Chili dogs are so different around the USA. I prefer how they are in the northeast, which is beef (with water added to it before cooking so it can get really minced up, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, ketchup, tomato paste, mustard and Worcestershire.
Never ask the "slice which way" question in germany when it comes to original bratwurst.
But what is the scarlet red sausage called? You can get it in denmark, but not in germany
And wouldnt the tomatoes and sauces not wreck the cast iron pen patina?
mate, i love you but you took a bite of the dog, on camera, complete blindsight, it didn't look fair.
Muy pesado
Your cheese dog needs chili on it, and your chili dog needs cheese on it, the three belong together.
And your ketchup bottle needs to be confiscated. 😛
Where's the actual chilli in the chilli dog?!?! Ripped off, do it again 😂😋🤙
Ketchup on a hot dog ? What are you 5
All good
Put some Cole slaw on that chili dog!!!
Yeah definitely no beans in the chili for a coney dog
But definitely mustard always on the coney
You need to use natural casing beef dogs, not those florescent food dye explosions. They look like packaged 'hot mama' sausages (this is not a compliment). Their main ingredient, as I recall was 'beef lips'.
No, I'm not kidding, lips.
Chili dog needs mustard. Also you need to cook the burger with water to make it a finer blend (or at least blend the chili to make it finer) for the coney sauce. Great video!
You pull that hotdog out of no where on the chill dog? It kind of just appeared 😂
I have cooked thousands of bunnings sausage sanga's to raise money for local charities, and the best thing about them is that they are all cooked the same way no matter where you go. They are delicious.
Thanks Andy, now you have made me so hungry i am looking to make the All Beef Chicago Dog! Cheers
I look everywhere for the poppy seed buns for the Authentic All Beef Chicago Dog but i cant ever find the buns my local bakery doesnt even make them so i use wheat hotdog buns from the bakery. They are pretty good!
Cheese dog is nacho cheese
American hotdogs are sh*t. Try Danish hotdogs instead.
As Dirty Harry says at a crime scene, "…nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog."
what is this red sausage thing? I can't believe it wasn't mentioned
Kangaroo dogs…..
A real Chicago hot dog uses a chilled small pickle that has not been brined instead of the garlic dill wedge, everything else is right on! Just look at the Vienna hot dog posters and you will see that
Mate… it's tomato sauce, not "kEtChUp"…
It blows my mind that people don't know about boiled hotdogs.

In Chile, we have a bread called Marraqueta, it’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and a bit small for hot dogs, but we use it for “choripanes” (chorizo inside a bun). Having tried a bunch of different style of hot dogs, I have to say, marraquetas can’t be beat.
