So happy for you. Those of us that are fortunate enough to be able to be a stay at home mom it is truly a blessing. It is so hard to try to balance all the things for our family, and keep ourselves sane.

A blush pink in a Victorian house is so pretty. Is the rabbit pillow gone so I don't see the link? I have done French country for years and it never bores me. I did have my family room painted a sage green and now I wish I had done all white with my white wood slanted ceiling. My furniture here in that room are the Provencal colors.
When we were changing our paint colors I looked up what interior designers suggested for neutral colors. We went with Sherwin Williams from Lowes. Then you can look up coordinating color palettes for which ever ones you choose for accent colors. I also looked at a lot of Pinterest photos with those colors to help me decide which direction I wanted to go. I can't wait to see what you get accomplished with your gap year!
It was -20 windchill here just a week ago and today it's currently 75, approaching 80! Oklahoma has crazy weather. If you don't like it…wait a day or two! I'll be interested to follow along on your journey now as a SAHM. I've been at home since my youngest was born almost 6 years ago and I have a restlessness but I also don't think I want to commit to working fulltime either. (and the attorney jobs I want to delve back into really would demand that)
I love a light taupe or earth tones. I feel it really warms up the home. So glad you are able to stay home and be with you family more.

We painted our bedroom a shade called Gotta Have It (from Home Depot). That's like a soft beige. It warms it up but keeps everything nueteral so I can play with colors in everything else
Could I suggest that you look up Lydia Millen Gordon, she's a UK influencer and has a beautiful greenhouse and vegetable garden, I believe you will get some tips and inspo from her! She also has chickens to🥰

I like neutral colors actually I like to see whites with creams and I think a lot of texture is important in a room. If you’re used to light colors, I don’t think you’ll be real happy with anything too colorful on the walls just giving you my professional opinion… I’m a interior designer… But the bottom line is it’s your home and you do what you feel comfortable with.

Potting shed looks nice nd organized. Garden getting lush. Cant wait for northern Iilinois to get to planting stage. Though 55 yesterday, mother s day is the go to time to plant . Good luck with paint choosing. I wish I can still paint but at 75 ,have occasional dizziness..

If you’re going to start seeds you definitely need grow lights for seedlings and heat mats for some seeds like peppers. Fungus gnats will probably move in and we use a sprinkle of diatomaceous earth and fans (which also helps they’re strength). They’re babies so you need to baby them. Check them atleast once per day if not twice.

What made you change your mind? I remember one of your previous videos you said that you felt the urge to work hard to provide for your family and for your children’s college. I’m in a position where with three children me going back to work would not provide enough income to make a profit, so I’m kind of stuck at home right now until my youngest starts kindergarten. I struggle with Embracing being a stay at home mom even though it’s what I’ve always wanted.
I would like to also add I’ve been watching your videos for years and I love how beautifully you’ve portrayed home making. It definitely gives me inspiration.
