With curry cod and potatoes and a shelf stable spicy beef wrap, this ration also features some of the best dark chocolate in a ration and also a blueberry muffin protein crisp bar plus some absolutely fantastic coffee. Bring some snacks because you’re gonna need ’em!

  1. Life may be bleak atm, but you know what isnt? Steve's enthusiasm and excitement for these rations, always nice to see

  2. 14:49 on one of the earlier seasons of Deadliest Catch , aboard the Northwestern, Captain Sig and then-Deck Boss and Engineer, Edgar, are having a little not-so-friendly-brotherly rivalry seeing who will cry “uncle!” first after three straight days of fishing. Finally Sig falls asleep at the wheel and Edgar wins. But as a show of Norwegian Norwegianness Edgar absconds to the galley to make Sig the scratch version of what Steve is eating. Cod, potatoes and carrots in cream. Like a casserole. One gets the impression that it’s maybe kinda like Norways version of mac n cheese? Or a chicken pot pie? Classic rib sticker. Comfort food. Hey! Know what I just realized??? Why am I writing this? 🤔

  3. Go fund me for a bigger bookcase for our man, Steve? He’s been “saving this for display” for so long he needs more shelf space. If we raise enough Ducats we could hire a craftsman to burn “nice hiss” across the top plate.

  4. You are so fun to litsen to dawg! Feels like watching a documentary about food every video! 😀

  5. I love fish but there’s noooooo flipping way I’m eating freeze dried cod . It would be a bad day for me on cod in a bag day

  6. light curry? isn't Norway the ones that outlawed the spicy cheetos? spicy is like the opposite of Norway.

  7. I enjoy "chewy" fish. I love shark and tuna, especially as steaks, paired with a good dressing with dill and garlic.

For shellfish I prefer scallops and shrimp, as their flesh has more firmness and body than crab, clam or oyster (although, if I'm being honest, I love all of it).

Wish I could get a sample of this menu…………………
