  1. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video. Edd I’m impressed!!!!! You certainly know how to handle your piece of wood 😮🫢🤣😂. All jokes aside, well done. You both always rise up to a challenge , learn from experience and accomplish wonders. 😘😘

  2. When pareing timber use two hands on the chisel, keep both hands be hind the sharp end ,do not cut towards the hand holding the timber glamp it to the table or bench top Mark's for trying

  3. Thank you for demonstrating your use of the new machinery. I appreciate knowing the work involved in making a frame for that stunningly beautiful front door. The more I watch your channel,, the more I appreciate the skill of French builders.

  4. Amazing work on the door frame , you are too hard on yourself and a perfectionist doesn’t help .
But you tried and succeeded I had no doubts

  5. First video of this place I couldn’t imagine anything that bad could be changed into something so pretty. That was a lot of hard work.

  6. Ahh, Edd, you really are amazing! What’s more, you don’t hide your mistakes; you’re very open and that’s how we all learn!

  7. The oak looks beautiful. It would look really nice with exposed wood grain. But of course then the door ought to also. And the door had some problems I recall.
Also it is probably not usual to do that.

  8. I still want that house, it's gorgeous, how you worked out a layout that works so well compared to how it was when you bought it! Love it.x

  9. this was interesting as I've been fascinated by wood joinery for a long time now. Particularly Japanese joinery and how traditional joinery is accomplished with hand tools. The incredible architecture that they've accomplished over much of their history, that has stood the test of time, and all done by hand. Would be a worthwhile technique to learn! Looking forward to seeing the door installed.
