You can tell it's American made French recipes are it's all tuned and not really how we make most of them here
Duck confit and snails are my favorites of the list, I could eat it everyday if I could afford. Duck grease can also be used to fry french fries, so delicious !
I love also croque-monsieur (you said it correctly) and croque-madame.
As to these salty thin pancakes called "crepe", they can be stuffed with a huge variety of ingredient. My favorites are with cream, oignon, bacon and cheese.
This video has not been made in France, certainly an american chef!!!, for example, there is no mustard in "croque Monsieur" and the duck is usually eaten with potatoes "à la Sarladaise" not with lentils. The cheese soufflé is not more popular now, and it's not a dessert. The snails are not eaten with garlic bread.
Edit : I'm french 😉
For many of those products they may be on the top 10 for tourists, sure they are well known in France, but not so much eaten. I wouldn't put them on the top 10.
For example, the well-known snails : eating them sometimes during Christmas fo the fun, yes ok maybe for some people, that's all. I'm pretty sure more than 50% of the french population never tried them even once. Fun fact : 90% of the snails eaten in France come from foreign countries (Romania, Turkey, …), and most of them are eaten by tourists 🙂
This Top10 is as cliché as it gets. Meanwhile, French people's actual favorite dishes (per 'official' rankings) : cassoulet, jambon-beurre, quiche, bourguignon…but also pizza, burger, kebab, paella, couscous, sauerkraut,. which aren't even french.
Duck confit is awesome
This list is a list for tourists, not about French people favorite food.
Yes and I even cook and bake them…Greetings from Europe
the duck is between red meat and white meat
it is a little like the chicken but much stronger
the real french macaron are incomparable with the industrial americans
look like AI video 🤣
Just 0,0001 percent of french cuisine😅
duck is so gooooooooood
Hey ! You should try some traditional french dishes like : cassoulet, blanquette de veau, choucroute, boeuf bourguignon, welsh, parmentier de canard (Oh ! Another duck ;)… If you like cheese, then try these : raclette, fondue savoyarde, tartiflette, mont d'or… (you'll have to do some sport after that ha ha !)
Enjoy your meal !
I forgot… I'm french 🙂

This is a mix of french food for americans in hurry …some are popular but I think if you wish to get real french food just take long term vacation, come and don't stay in Paris move to two or three of our regions and then you'll have the most interesting french food experience!
It's french yes, but…. that is really not how we make it or either our products so it looks far from how it is supposed to look
as a french guy all france is not paris sooooooo if you come to france i suggest you to get out of paris
The cheese soufflé is not a dessert 😂😂😂😂. It s a starter 😅
fake "french" food, butchered by US cook : don't take that for actual french food !
