  1. 2:29:38 Well, at least she has the courage to actually try some of the abomination she concocted…

For me, the worst videos are those where food is disrespected and wasted on purpose. Especially when there's meat in any form involved; after all, a life was taken for that!

  2. Dear Jesus, or whoever… My school food in 3rd grade was a pinnacle in my growing years compared to what I've just witnessed.

The School lunch on Wednesdays was a bean and beef Chili with a PB&J sandwich.

I absolutely adored it. I lived for it. It beat my Moms Liver & Onions, and I loved her Liver & Onions.

School was Georgetown Ohio Elementary School.

  3. I almost ordered sixteen of an item because I was just reading a text. I was confused by the price and thought it was a joke. Cleared it up before they got cooking thankfully.

  4. Most people could not handle a higher end commercial kitchen, its tough work, lots of expectations, long fast paced hours, sometimes no time for a break, late nights followed by early mornings.

  5. only seen the first one so far. ive only had a type of enchiladas once and that was one my dad made he used i think it was the husk of corn cobs some part of it. i was also young so i didnt know that i needed to peel it off thankfully it was cooked enough where it still fell apart

  6. Cooking good food doesn't need to be difficult, it generally just takes time, especially when you're not an experienced cook. Time (and energy, and money) many people don't have or don't want to put into it. I get it.

I want to eat healthier and better food, with fresh ingredients. The (partially) premade stuff often contains too much salt, or have added sugar where it doesnt make sense, or all the vitamins etc have gone because of the processing, or so many other strange additions and substractions. I would also like to have dinner on the table that I can afford within 30 minutes after a long day of working and not have too many dishes to do after. My friends thought 30 minutes was a lot already, lol. Combining those wishes is very difficult. It's really no mystery why people aren't as healthy these days or why they compromise for the taste of food.

That however doesn't explain all the weird stuff I saw here though XD .

  7. I make a similar dish but mine is a layered casserole, not all gooshed and swirled together…. I always keep in mind though, watching some of these cooking shows.. a parent with 3 kids to feed after a long 10-hour shift, these meals can be life savers, and as long as they have great flavor? a hungry pack of kids could care less about the authenticity or appearance … I'm not going to slight a parent who didn't spend 10 hours cooking but rather spent 10 hours working and now has to come home and cook for a family.. sometimes you just have to say… bless the home chef..lol

  8. 48hr dough with a poolish is the way for me.. so good!
That cooking the sauce thing is just stupid AF tho.. and putting all that crap in it ??? why ?

  9. Heyyyyy.. soooo I kind of wanted to torture you Chef Makinson. Have you ever seen PointCrow "cooking" a Japanese A5 Wagyu Steak. Although I have to tell you NOT to have any food before you watch it, and probably wait about 2-3 hours after watching it to eat.. I just saw Chef Brian, Chef Paul and Guga react to that video and it was quite interesting to say the least. Hehehe. Do make a video if you ever want to try watching it 😀

  10. jammy olive oil ramen sucks, but uncle roger was against soba, i agree, but great grandpa david is worried about the pork;thats boiled fat

  11. The Sentence "I hear ancestors crying" never fit better. What a Trainwreck that was 😅🙈

  12. Watching your expressions, especially during Jack’s enchiladas, is priceless. Very funny 😂🤣😂. Thank you so much for the video.

  13. “This oven emulates a wood burning pizza oven…” Proceeds to cook his pizza for 3 minutes instead of 90 seconds. 😂😂

  14. Tik-tok challenges are not about doing something sensible with likable outcome. They’re about suffering through something horrible but going through it. One of the most famous was dumping a whole bucket of ice over your head. Putting an Oreo in pickle juice is going to taste horrible. They know that. The purpose of the challenge is to see if you could actually eat it. And I’m sure some people do. The follow up is probably a terrible stomachache.

  15. People are often confused by the terms, Hispanic and Latino. Latino means anyone from Latin America or Central America. Hispanic means anyone who speaks Spanish. So people from Spain are Hispanic, although we usually think of Hispanic, as pertaining only to the New World. Spaniards are not Latino. People from Brazil are Latino, but not Hispanic, because they Speak 3:19:45 Portuguese.

  16. Don’t put fat down the sink. When fat accumulates in the cities, sewer pipes, they get clogged with “fatbergs”.

  17. Gordon Ramsey seems to have gone on a big arch….his earliest work is quite Simpatico. then he got very famous and agressive. and now he's going back to mr nice guy it seems.
Some Italians told me that you Never mix garlic and onions. so I did a deep dive into my cookbooks and although it's definately a trend I did find a handful of recipes that do mix onion and garlic in the same dish. I really don't care what people do. I care about the results. and don't get me started on seafood and cheese. one of my fav combos. Jacques Mexico

  18. I remember workinf at an actual pizza place with a wood oven, I actually really liked working the oven. We had, essentially, 6 lanes (imaginary). Each side had the center oven, the middle lane, and the end lane. I dont actually know how long each pizza spent in the oven, they taught us based on the color of the crust when you needed to shift it to the next lane

  19. Not seen many good reviews for Ramsey's restaurants after seeing him cook " cabannara " I understand why if you like salt it's good

  20. Hey James, I'd be interested if you could watch the ramen video by Bernd Zehner, a German YouTube chef with decades of professional experience, or would that be nothing because watching with subtitles don't give you the same vibe?

it was a pleasure to watch the whole video but sometimes it was hard to watch 😅

  21. The 1954 British pizza recipe is because post-war Britain was extremely poor, so yeah they had to get creative…

  22. 48 minutes or so, I use shears to trim a too thicks fat caps, but not to slice the meat itself, and not before cooking.

    <–home cook

    Oof

I'm not sure the selection process they used for this show, but it seems there's some producer shenanigans going on.

  23. 4:57:00 ish he had chopsticks sticking out of bowl.
No wonder Ucle Roger doesn't like him.
    Then went to spoon.
I suspect Jaimie not good at chopsticks.
    Quick cut…

  24. Oh God, I and most aspiring cooks hate reaction videos. Such a waste of time. Show me your recipes and cooking tips and we will be friends.!!!

  25. 24:33 You are so right!!! At least the knife seems to be somewhat sharp, this reduces the risk for injuries a bit….

  26. If you made something like the 'enchiladas' with some home-made salsa and far less cheese, you're looking at something not too distant from chilaquiles that would probably taste fine. The grossest thing about the recipe was all the canned and jarred sauces that just taste like salt and vinegar and over-salted chips from a bag. The whole thing would just taste like a salt-lick the way he made it. The burnt cheese didn't do any favors either, but pre-shredded cheese doesn't brown properly and a dude like Jack is unlikely to know that.

  27. Watched Mr Oliver today make a roast and his stuffing was a slice of bread coated with English mustard and rolled and cooked of course it was "delicious " how is this guy where he is….

  28. Used to be a McDonald's gm. Largest order
BY Far was for a Haworth overtime thing on a saturday. 150 egg mcmuffins, 150 sausage egg mcmuffins and 300 hash browns. He notified and paid the day before, and we gathered an hour before regular opening and it took FOREVER because of poaching all those eggs.
