Was there for January 2nd and they did not have any. But i did find an experimental JD finished Oloroso sherry casks at a liquor store, (and maybe the one in this video) for a slight markup. Got the sherry cask finished one and it’s “meh”

Holy sh*t, it's that good. Another unattainable bottle. At least I got another Coy Hill and hopefully a JD 14. I could imagine the 3 yr finish in a maple barrel.
Craft Whiskey is taking off. The barrels at JD are plenty years old. SBBP Rye is one of many JD has flexed with.

Ha, great reaction! I have the twice barreled Distillery Series Rye, release #13, from last July. Also 107 proof, also 2 gavel good IMO. JD is producing some amazing whiskey these days.

Attended a Jack Daniel’s tasting last night in Nashville. Was told that 14 year would be bottled soon.
