Hi, I like your channel and have been subscribed for roughly one year. @
Ed I think you should check out Shelly System for your next projects. It’s cooler and as I see it the future to be able to control light switches using Shelly app as well as Alexa or whatever personal assistant you like best. Shelly offers everything to not need any switches at all. I combine at the place I rent with Phillips hue. It’s cool to be able to tell Alexa to turn off all lights when your leaving the house and turn the light on at 30% while serving your wife with tea in the living room while watching a movie. The good about Shelly’s is that you may use the switches,etc. you like best additional to cheap Shelly’s to also be able to control the house via voice. So if I were Ed I would renovate next project so the house can also be controlled via app as well voice command like Alexa or Google.
I think it’s better to take off a few mm to perfect the floor now that it is no long damp instead of moving on to complete downstairs and make everything dirty again.

Good to show the before because we forget how absolutely horrendous it was. It is gorgeous now! I hate the white shutters on the outside though..makes the outside so lifeless and plain. Has to be a dark green or a dark red or ? that they will let u paint? Hard work but ended ip being worth it! Amazing!
It's so beautiful, Edd and Anna! I just have one question. Will you be putting a small handrail to go up the stairs? Otherwise, people will run their hand on the wall for support and leave grease marks and ruin your painting. I can't wait for the kitchen and remaining downstairs. As for the next build, I know you're doing your friends project…..BUT I loved that castle Edd thought was way too much work….I fell in love with the banister! Happy New Year! 🎉 Keep the shopping videos coming and more of your darling children! They are so precious and joyful!!! They make my ❤ sing!!!

Really liked the reveal. You have done an amazing job turning that poor unloved building around to become a very modern, comfortable apartment. The bedrooms are quite a good size and the bathrooms have come up a treat. I really like that you kept the exposed stone throughout too. And yes, those light switches are very cute 😊

Oxalic acid is a bleach used to remove black stains from wood but open windows and wear protective clothes.

i love the stone walls in the rooms. painting the beams would not have been my first idea but it makes it feel very light. i think that was a good choice 😊 you saw the potential of this house and made it happen ❤
