What’s your nation’s favourite comfort food?

When I was a child, my grandmother was preparing a delicious comfort food in the countryside. Pork meat preserved in lard is warmed in a frying pan. After the lard melted, you could prepare in it some delicious french fries or eggs. With this memory in my mind, I decided to reproduce this delicious food. Would you give it a try? Enjoy!
