Something that always works for me during the coughing phase of sickness is drink a TON I mean a TON of water. The more "wet" your throat stays, the better because as soon as it dries, you won't stop coughing.
Liam loves toys and books as well. Give him some interactive books since you two read books together. He’ll love it.
Buy a bag of Hershey kisses and let him have one a day after advent calendar done. That's what I do at our day care and kids call them "chocolate mountains"

My husband of 25 years abandoned our disabled son and me. So you truly made our day. I hope one day I can buy that book it sounds so interesting. I've read a few Erik Larson books and enjoyed them. I'd recommend for Larry to check out The Alienist by Caleb Carr. It is also historical, but I think the author does an amazing job at making these great historical figures feel so personal.

Mindy, I saw your mention of the factor meals. I'm just worried about microwaving the meal inside of the plastic it comes in. I've been on a mission the past few years to reduce the amount of plastic in my life when possible. Including the coffee pods. I use stainless reusable pods. The bowl you put his hot noodles in…. melts the plastic in his food. I have kids. I wish i knew about all these things when i was younger. I don't want to sound annoying, just trying to look out for you since you have a small child and one on the way. Anyway, I'm thoroughly enjoying your vlogs. I love seeing you do these daily vlogs. I can't wait to see baby girl. My eldest daughter is 24 and she's having a boy in January. First boy in our family, on our side from us.
