I’m curious where your viewers are from? Inquiring mind wants to know 🧐
Love ❤️ the bedroom finishes and the bathroom, well done Xxx
The green tile is stunning. Love it!!
Isn't it easier to paint the walls before fitting the architrave and skirting board?
Just been reading all your wonderful comments! – you have some lovely souls watching your videos!
Someone asked when we all live (great question btw!) I’m in Exeter, Devon, UK!
Why was the door fitted butting up to the wall, with no gap left to fit architrave all the way around it?
I commented on the previous video when you had completed just one wall in the green tiles that was beautiful but seeing the others completed it looks amazing see you soon edd and Anna best wishes from Lynda ❤❤
its all coming together now Ed, bathroom looking great.
I love love the music
Wow, it is gonna look awesome. ❤
You do beautiful work.
those green tiles are lovely! – when you were putting the first lot up, I noticed the swirly pattern in lines across them, and thought it was a part of the design, and thought you were lining them up, and noticed one tile the wrong way and you had a line going across two tiles next to each other and it was doing my head in, but I've realised that it's some kind of plastic swirl on the tile so that while they are packaged they don't rub on each other and scratch the tile surface of the one underneath. You've rubbed off that pattern on all the ones around the window, so that must be it. nice.
I did wonder about the block at the bottom of the architrave – I thought it was temporary so you could put the skirting/plinth in the right place afterwards, but you've left that big block there – presume it's now just some kind of buffer for things like the vacuum cleaner hitting it or boots or something, a bit of extra protection at the bottom of the door frame. It's all coming together nicely! good job!
Treat yourself to a cordless sliding mitre saw and a folding workbench. Having scrabbled around on the floor using a mitre box and cheap handsaw myself, these two things are priceless
Ed I’m curious why you don’t paint the walls before you put up trim? If we are building and have that time before trim, it’s so much easier and we also paint, stain or whatever to the trim before it’s installed as well. No possibility of getting either messed up or having to tape off. Seems much easier.
Hi from zanzibar
Bravo ED
Edd, you do such beautiful carpentry and construction work; I’m always truly amazed with your results!
Cincinatti, Ohio watching! Love You and Anna.
OMG Edd, You need a chop saw for your trimwork. I haven't seen a manual miterbox saw in ages that's actually being used. A chop saw will make quick work or trimming out rooms. Good work, though.
I am one of your viewers who is a glutton for punishment. I watch to the very end! Fascinated by your work. Who chooses the music? Love it! Great job with those walls btw!
Love those multi shaded green tiles. So interesting compared to all one color. Good work! Good choice!

Looks fantastic
The green tile looks amazing!
I thought the stone wall looked fine without a baseboard or plinth and would save time , money and headaches trying to to force anything against the stone
It's quite remarkable to see you so intensely absorbed concentrated on what's at hand, similar to pro athletes and pianists but if I may suggest you be mindful of your position under effort whilst crouching or extending awkwardly somehow your bad back might be sending a sign. 🌞
Thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤❤👳♀️❤❤❤❤
I think you'd cut that trim better with a steak knife Ed.
Edd, I really enjoyed this video. I spend a great deal of time removing the poor quality MDF trim that my home's previous owner installed. And I replace it with oak, primarily, but sometimes maple. And of course I then apply Osmo. So we are kindred spirits in this regard. 😊
Northern Ireland. Currently enjoying updates in NZ.
Love the green tiles😊
If you want to save yourself some grief, don't install the door trim after you paint.
Please don't think I'm trying to tell you how to do something Ed but if you hold the timber against the face of the mitre box furthest from you you'll find it doesn't move about when sawing. The saw cuts on the forward stroke so you will be sawing against the face of the box. Sorry, but as a carpenter of 50 years experience I hope you'll accept a bit of friendly advice.
Beautiful tilework Ed, love the color! Looking forward to the final reveal in this room!
Can't Believe The House Now To What it was Like , Unbelievable Edd Xx 😊
I assumed the doors were done already 🙂 look forward to seeing the AC what it would consist of. Will you be painting the doors and surround or just varnishing?. I wonder if the skirting couldn't be a little taller to match that piece of wood at the door. Everything you do is interesting Edd and Anna helping and keeping you company 🙂 I am a renovation information addict always need to know how things are done I watch several channels and real estate tours and some antiquing channels. When officially are you stopping for the holidays?
The bathrooms look great!
Seems to me you need a sliding mitre saw and a brad nailer.
New Zealand 😊 love your work ❤
Thankyou for sharing another wonderful video. Like any wall they’re never straight. Trust me I should know 😂🫢😘😘
what was the reason for putting the toilet on the wall instead of where the towel rack instead at the niche and the rack across from the shower instead
🙂This place was so dark and dingy…and it looks so good allready.
