  1. We flew AF Premium Economy London to Singapore last year and the service was incredibly disappointing. My wife is gluten free. The food on both services was incredibly poor. One of them was frozen solid. When I asked for an alternative, they shrugged and offered potato chips. They switched all the lights off after food service (mostly day flight) and refused to answer any call bells. My seat didn't work properly, the USB didn't charge. It was the worst flight I have ever had long haul.

We complained after the flight and again they shrugged and gave us nothing.

  2. How do you forget a request when you're only responsible for 3 people? Sounds like someone sucks at their job.

  3. Flew Air France Business Class CDG-DXB and got equally bad catering. I’m starting to wonder if they just hate DXB😂

  4. The mega fart reverberating throughout the lounge…
You had to be there to fully experience the horror 🤡

  5. Yeah maybe Air France doesn't wanna mark halal and maybe there are good reasons for that. Maybe we shouldn't just accept and normalise massive animal cruelty in developed countries?
    Just an idea lol.

  6. WOW – thanks for sharing your experience. While the hard product is gorgeous, I’ve learned that the soft product and the people are often the true source of competitive advantage. A clear miss for AF.

  7. Veganism is extremely rare in France (butter features in EVERYTHING!) and the attitudes you encountered reflects this reality IMO (along with the pride – or snobbery, if you prefer – they carry with their cuisine).

  8. Not quite accurate statement on other airlines ground offerings: Singapore Airlines offers an escort service from the checkin counter to the lounge, then the gate, at JFK, for Solitaire PPS members.

  9. Paid by Cash or Points, this kind of crappy First class, I feel bad for ppl who book such tickets. There are so many options these days out of every big airport. Why would someone book Crappy Air France First class.

  11. You seem to forget that the point of air travel is to get you to the destination, you dont need facials, or mountains of fancy food & you dont get there any faster than people up the back. The main difference is a bit more room & the staff pretend to like you!

  12. They could have included a bit more accent colours in the cabin fittings…it look very dull and monotonous with the grey/white.

  13. I don’t understand how your flight attendant forgot your dessert and just ghosted when it came to drinks when she only has 3 passengers! 😂 LAZY

  14. Sorry BUT if you actually ate real food maybe you would have had a better experience? Other than the food problems, I'd be furious with the amount you spent! Nope!

  15. The pre-landing food segment was so funny 😅! Looked like something you could get at 7/11 for like $10!

  16. I am glad some parts of your experience did indeed match your experience, such as the ground experience in LHR. But I feel really sorry for you that not everything at all matched your expectations. I can totally imagine how you felt, as I did a once-in-a-lifetime La Première flight last year, from HAM to MEX via CDG. Same high expectations – but fortunately I was blessed with being able to tick all the boxes from the moment I arrived to Hamburg airport until the moment I was waved farewell in Mexico City. By far the very best flight experience in all my life. I don't have any dietary restrictions, maybe this helped, as the food experience was incredible during all the journey.
