That was fun
17:33 , nivellement général de la France ( NGF ) , pour mesurer l'altitude déterminée par nivellement .
Hi Ed Can you say size of land please.
That would have to be cheap to buy because that is going to cost a fortune in restoring it.
Probably about 75.000
You guys are delightful
Nice to see you guys getting out . I thought that the main buildings beams were very good and that the beams on the outside need some TLC but it has great potential for someone to invest in . Could grow grapes could cultivate to pay for some improvements Thanks for taking time to show us .
Looks amazing ❤
My gosh, I would really like to live here, do my music here… the renovacion would be fun work. Absolute beauty. I would love to know about the listing. Stonking good place…
How much land comes with it…Would be lovely home to renovate 😊
€150,000 plus 8 years of your life.
With the right outlook and budget, it could be an exciting renovation. I am interested in the animals whose names are still above the stalls.
If you restored this property I would definitely make the fireplace in the kitchen a working fireplace. I would keep the horse stalls on the bottom but remove the rear barn that is attached on the exterior. The place does need a enclosed garage so decide which end would get that.
Maybe a cheeky 225k. Not much of a house really. Dead vines zero value. Raw land should be less than 500 per acre so 225k is generous as i dont think its 450 acres property.
To another commenter who says ‘those who cannot travel’, an agree 100%.
I do NOT travel abroad – watching these videos are a godsend! Thank you Edd and Anna x
Ed are you looking for a new renovation challenge or are you being a real estate agents on these properties. This one looks promising though.
A little short on curb appeal.
I was getting excited because I thought you were going to purchase it!
The stables are amazing for their age. The property was well loved at one time. How much land comes with it? Hard to put a price when the land is not mentioned. I'm thinking 1/2 million just for the building since the roof is fairly new and there hasn't been any vandalism.
Why is there hay in the bedrooms?
Do another chateau. Or build one like you suggested you might, only energy efficient.
Thank you Ed and Anna for showing us these properties, as a few people have commented, there are a lot of us who do not travel and you open up another world to us. That property does have a lot of potential. Have a lovely day.
I know you have the vision for this project. I will wait and see… 🤗
Not horses, Ed – dairy cattle. That galvanised pipe running horizontally above the stalls is the suction pipe for a 1950's "round-the-parlour" milking system. The bulk tank would have been in the central portion between the two wings of the byre, with the door for the churns to be taken out or a pipe leading out to the milk tanker.
The metal plaque on the wall says Nivellement General, it is the French equivalent of a Bench Mark in UK.
Ryan has tiles…🤭👋🏻🇨🇦🐉👩🏼⚖️
I'm thinking about 40 to 80k.
20,000€
One good thing it hasn’t been vandalised just showing its neglect. Would make a good project for someone to invest in with a lot of land too.
You should buy it because you could make it more beautiful than it originally was.
Lovely property. 300000 euros. Would possibly need the same to renovate but done well it would be stunning. Michele.
This property should be sold to someone that is interested in growing grapes and opening a vineyard it looks like the perfect setup for Bordeaux. If I were younger, just starting out this would be a wonderful adventure to undertake. I was not able to convert the meters to acres so how many acres is it total?
That electric meter would not be re-attached!
Good 😊
Hi Edward, I am really interested, could you give me the details of the seller? Thanks!
So you spent 178 000 for a small house to renovate in Bordeaux. I think a city house is easier to sell than such a huge project so I will go out a limb and say the price is 150 000 euros
50,000€
Going to be a stunner for sure.. if i was younger😊
I would love to see you all by and fix it I know it would be beautiful if you all would do the work
When do you plan to begin working on the place?
Are you going to visit Sadie and Stan's new property?
