Looking good guys! Can't wait for the kitchen shenanigans'!
suggest that the top cupboards in the kitchen have glass doors, adds a light feel to the room. Also agree with others that kitchen drawers are a better choice for storage
Was the kitchen in the budget?
Not that bad considering prices of everything have gone up so much Globally. Here in America that would be so much higher. It is going to be valued quite well in my opinion you have thought about everything for the future as well of the building too. You can see that nearly destroyed abandoned building is going to be a happy home full of joy! You have clearly reimagined so wonderfully!
No mention of kitchen in budget?
Opening shot: NO pigeon! I don’t think you are paying him enough 🤣😂
Very nice. Have you considered adapting the top window panels so that they open? Kitchen accidents happen and it is useful to be able to air it out and ket the burn or other smells out quickly. Fans cannot deal with this. another option would be to build a bench under the window and using the underneath as pantry. this would also save money though removes some of the storage.
You are making so much progress Edd and mostly all on your own. It is amazing how you have transformed this very sad building into something livable again. Going to be so very nice. All the best!
It’s looking really good. I always go over my project budgets too.
Hope you make quick huge profit. Cheers.
Thank you for sharing the wonderful, interesting, and entertaining progress of this property! 👏👏 I can't wait to see kitchen's final results 👍🥰👍
There’s nothing wrong with an IKEA kitchen, they work very well 😊
Hi there
Did you order your kitchen in IKEA today?? You walked past us but we didn’t like to bother you as we know how busy you are. Xxx
You are so amazing! I too am a chatelaine follower, specifically you all, Stephanie, Vivienne and Simon, Dan. I've been inspired to turn my 4 bedroom 3 bath home in Arizona into a mini chateau. My interior decor patterned after Stephanie's chateau. Your renovating has inspired me to add 2 rooms to my home. You a long with the others have aided in healing me as my husband went to heaven last year…. Your videos have added much cheer to my heart, thank you. I plan to visit Dana, Stephanie's friend one-day and she has agreed to take me to visit some of the other chatelaines, perhaps if you're in close proximity to Dana she will take me to visit you all. Happy building and cheers to you all!!!❤
Great work 🤗👍🤗👍🍰☕🍰☕💐
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Of course I enjoyed the vlog…. Been here since the beginning…. Hugs from NY
Thank you for sharing and enjoyed being here😊❤
Carry on with your wonderful make over..
Edd,Anna my loves. You have done great progress. It’s good to see everything going well. Until next time. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🌹🕊🌈❤️🌞🇺🇸🙏😇👍 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁🍾🥂
It is really amazing what you have done with this place it seems that it was money well spent!!!
Of course, Edd, your expenses had to include yours and Anna's time and labor as "free" otherwise you would be in a huge deficit. So give yourselves a hug and peck because your efforts kept the project from going to heck. 😅
Hey Ed! 10% contingency is very good. I generally work to a 20% as over time you just don’t know with price increases and issues along the way. So your well on track mate🙌
Is there any chance you could fix the lower panels of the kitchen doors but have the top glass portions open? I would enjoy the ability to open the top portions for air more than anything!!
“Lots of bobs” 😂😂
I continue to be so impressed with your amazing talent and your attention to detail
Anna is always so supportive in everything that you do
Who ever gets to live in this wonderful house is going to be so lucky and yes you may have gone over budget but I think when you get it valued it should pay dividends because all of your work has been completed to a very high spec ❤
Hi guys. FYI. You do have a "Triangle" layout. However, the relationship of the 'kitchen elements" is wrong. The refrigerator should be closer to the sink and a counter!!! The idea is thar if you take something from the freezsr/refrigerator to cook. It usually goes to the counter/sink. Then prepped for cooking abd go to the stove. Anyway, it's a small compact kitchen so it shoud not be such a major functional problem. Anyway. Keep up the Good work. 😊
Have wide deep drawers in the kitchen for pots and pands. And a second wide deep drawer always needed.
Suggestion for that angled corner space make it a rubbish bin access from the top that is a lift off top.
Can you imagine if you didn’t know how to do a lot of the work tiling, electrics, plumbing, plastering, etc the costs would be through the roof. You’ve done well Ed and Anna
