This should be a crime what they did to the interior 😮😮😮😮.BTW. the floor pattern in the second and third rooms is called chevron, not herringbone.
Around the same price as a 5 bedroom house on a 700 square metre block in our suburb.

The exterior of the chateaux is absolutely amazing & gives the appearance of a fairy tale palace. The inside was very clean but lacked charm and nothing to captivate the eye. I agree that the windows were beautiful. 👍🏼
Seems like they like that Halloween colour everywhere with same style decor. The next owner will have to scrape it all .

Sorry Anna and Ed. I wouldn't touch that chateau with a barge pole. The decor is gross, and I know that can be changed, but I'm afraid it does nothing for me.

2.5 mil francs or pounds or euros? Painting the wood ceilings?! Are you crazy? Let the natural wood texture be visible. Just varnish it. But lead windows are toxic….the highlight was that open fire in the kitchen. Hmm the basement would have been very interesting to see. How far is it from the nearest international airport?
My God, what have these people done with the place. A nightmare indeed. I hope that the new owners will restore it to its former glory.
God knows what they used this chateau for in the past. The entire place gives me the creeps especially now that we know about the child trafficking around the world with elites. The deco is very dark. Had to turn it off after you showed the first 3 rooms. Sorry Edd and Anna, but this place just sent off bad vibes.
Am I the only one that could live with the decor…having utilized my fortunes for new heating, plumbing, electricals, etc. rather then gilding, wallpapers and furniture…as an artist myself, I love the use of different applications which can easily be restored if wanted and is livable now instead of years of renovation per room…this is the perfect fairy tale chateau for this ECLECTIC style, it's so unbelievably perfect for the imagination to run rampant, a feral style that will make most cringe, yet I would love to have seen it before he started work on it…awesome work kids, thanks for sharing…!

Thank you for pointing out the positives of this chateau. The paint and color schemes in this chateau are atrocious and without any real painting talent. The loss of the beautiful appearance of the woodwork saddens me. I hope someone with taste will rescue this sad chateau.
