54 years ago. They are eating nothing now they are pushing up Daisy's. Unless the dead developed a taste for Daisy's.
They still served most these dishes if not all in 80s and 90s.
The 1970's?? It's not exactly like it was oh so log ago. I mean, c'mon man, lots of us that grew up in the 60's and 70's are still young enough and have plenty of years left! We ate the exact same thing as we eat today. Wealthy or not. Now, some things might have been more popular back then, like Delmonico cut steaks. I'm sure you can still find them, but they aren't as popular today.
Tornados Rossini ??? 🎉
I just love when American narrators try to use french words… 😂
I sill eat fois grass, Oscar style beef…. Etc.
California outlawed Fois gra.
Aspic kills the sequence I could eat any and all at least once but ASPIC? YIKES! I'm not originally American can someone explain this to me?
I am glad we were not refined and rich. We had my grandmother's fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy with fresh green beans, clover rolls. Then to top it off a homemade strawberry ice cream, strawberries from my grandfather's garden.
Beef Oscar is popular pub food in Sweden. Swedes love bearnaise sauce, even a pizza topping.
We will laugh at "Surf and Turf" in the near future.
