1 Major Clarification regarding Jane and her gearing
Enemies with a weakness have -20 Resistance to Damage, Daze, And Anomaly Build Up
I did my Jane research and calcs assuming Neutral Enemy, so while what I mentioned isn't wrong. It is also not fully correct. If the enemy is Phys Weak (Especially with her S rank Engine) Jane can and arguably should use ATK% on Slot 6
Type Weakness is very important in this game as I've been talking about on stream for the last few days, not including the infomation about this in my Jane video is a massive oversight

How vital is Seth? I don't care for him whatsoever so if he's pretty much a must use character I'll probably skip Jane

I think you're sleeping on Grace, Rina, Jane. Janes whole kit is built around disorder, and large assault procs along with the disorder. There is a reason her whole kit is built around anomaly build up rate increases, even her faction bonus is built around having faster buildup when affected by another anomaly. You proc shock with Grace, swap to Rina to get pen going and slap a fast, fat disorder and assault proc and then reapply shock and repeat.
There is in no world that Seth out does Rina. For 1, 3 second increase on shock makes for a bigger disorder proc. 2 her electric damage increase means proc'ing the shocks while quickly building up assault deal more, and the pen alone is a pretty large increase. Seth's anomaly increase is the only thing good about him and given her cap of 600 atk from her passive, his proficiency increase won't contribute at all to her passive if you have a decently to well built jane, and his anomaly proficiency increase won't make up the damage difference on assaults that a high proficiency grace's shock damage value proc'd into disorders with a 3 second increase and pen ratio will provide. The fact that Seth builds decent daze also isn't a big issue when taking into effect how often disorder procs will happen if played correctly with the fact disorder provides a decent chunk of daze now.
I truly believe that Grace, Rina, Jane will be the premier team, especially if you get m1 Jane with flinch lasting 5s longer meaning not only will Jane proc large disorders, but swapping back to Grace to apply shock will also proc some pretty decently high disorder's. I can assure you it won't be uncommon to see 200k+ disorder procs along with 200k+ assaults in a single burst. Also, Rina's ult is incredibly impactful. It has incredibly high damage multiplier for a support (which anomaly character ults are pretty lackluster) and it provides 30 energy to the next swapped in character while also providing a quick assist and the pen buff.

Still undecided on Jane. I'm definitely going for Burnice so it'll depend on how well they synergize or if Burnice is reliant on Jane. I'm on guarantee on both banner after losing Ellen's weapon and Qingyi so I think I have enough to pull both Jane and her weapon, potentially would have to save the weapon pulls for Burnice or her weapon. Lucy being a lynchpin that can help satisfy everyone's passives (I'm guessing) might make her the next character to build for me. I do also have a ready built M0R1 Rina tho.
Question. I am mostly free to play, I have saved up quite a bit for jane (enough to ensure I get a pull). If I pull her on the pity, or earlier 🤞should I try to pull for w-engine, or pull for her again to get the cinema one?

Would you mind sharing your thoughts on Jane Seth Piper in more detail? I've tried looking up more info from other places and most people just doom about it. I've been trying to get Piper to use for ages and finally just grabbed her from the shop. I'll probably end up using her with Jane and Seth anyways, but I'd love to know more. Is it heavily cope? Should it work out just fine? You mentioned Grace being hard to play around, will Piper have the same exact issue or is it a different kind of 'difficult'?
I can live with not being meta as long as things die while I have fun.

Why do you keep calling Seth a stun unit?
It was evidenced in prydwen tc channel iirc , how grace can apply shock in around 2-3 seconds field time a few days ago. And her doing that in the next rotation without any additional field time in piper teams.

Is Anomaly Mastery% that much better than ATK% on slot 6? I guess ATK% could work if you focus more on a crit build.

I really like Jane but I'm gonna skip. With Lighter's ult's animation leak, he probably an S rank fire DPS. That punch will be awesome as hell. I might go for Burnice and Lighter instead. Obol Squad will also be introduced, Ghostfire (Female), Trigger (Female) and Seed (Male). Miyabi's banner might be pushed back too imo.
i just dont get why grace is considered bad for her. people talk about her long on field time and I just think…one special or 2 max and you shock pretty much everything? how is that much field time? And paired with rina and the extra shock duration, the disorder damage might be quite high?
