AS FRENCH, i can say that is a bs to call this a "public school" and its a "public school" for the high society, like government officials and journalist, not for basic citizen lmao. France is rigged af, look at our "olympic games" its a fckin joke. banana republic i am ashamed of my country for what it is becomming.
@09:25 that's not escargots, that's seafood "bulots"
Look, you definitely have a problem. Either you come and live in a European country or just live your life as a murican. You are obsessed with European stuff ! I've been watching a few of your videos, it's always the same shit ! Surely you can find something else that makes you feel better ? You are handsome but please live your life ! Comparaison, n'est pas raison !
French person here, those were not escargots but bulots. We take our snails seriously.
This is probably a school in a RICH neighborhood, hosting RICH kids. I swear i didnt get this kind of food.
You should react to fda vs eu banned products
Food is fuel that without brains can't learn that well.
Those weren't escargots lol, but some kind of shellfish (bulot). I love that kind of sea food.

these are not snails but bulots. it's a sea snail. here we eat them with mayonaise where land snails are usually just an excuse to gorge on garlic butter.
I'm French and i eat pretty quickly too, not every French take an hour or more to lunch ^^
But yeah, it's a French tradition to stay at the dining tables during several fu**ing hours during family lunch on Sundays and this kind of things, and i realy don't like that :p
It's so important for kids to eat a good food to make the brain and the body 's growth better. Eating by taking time improve your body too.😅
Under certain circumstances, we can even put our children in preschool when they reach 2 years old, I was one of them, that was exceptional
5 courses meals are the daily bases of our meal. Not a big deal.
This is normal in many different countries. School lunches are seen as a key part of thr school education system.
Kids will get balanced meals put together by professional nutritionists. They will be given a huge variety of foods so that they learn different flavours and textures. Peer pressure will be key when it comes to picky eaters.
But they also learn to sit together and eat with manners. They learn to be polite and serve the whole table from the water jug, they all take turns clearing dirty plates and wiping down the table. In other words, they are taught basic table manners.
Lunch in schools will be between 1-2 hours long and be made up of at least 3 courses: starter (soup or salad), main meal (protein, carb and vegetable) and a dessert (yoghurt, fruit and sometimes a treat).
The worst school lunches I've come across were the US and the UK.
You should look up school lunches in Japan too. Its very similar to the french one in a lot of ways.
3-year-old demand to go to school, just for the meals.
My children had high quality food in their "lycee" (high school). I have been invited sometimes to eat with the pupils, wow, it was a complete meal with vegetables and fantastic sauces, with a high quality standard.
The USA is just a third world country..
Hello im French, and from 3 to 5 you basically learn nothing, this is more like day care you said it! lol i eat pretty fast too, but people are getting mad at us because we make noise, and look like dogs. Which can be disgusting
OUAIS OUAIS OUAIS! 🇫🇷
in Finland when i was in like 1-6 grade, i was in Rymättylä´s school, and all potatos and fish and meat was all local from 25km away, farmers bring theyr goods to our school and cooks made the BEST Finnish school food there in that was… our school actually got medal for best Finnish school launches. <3 thänks Rymättylä.
In French "a Friend" is "un copain" ( co-pain like co-pilote ) it mean "qui partage le même pain" in English "who shares the same bread"
I'm French, 48 years Old and can just agree to this Documentary. From 4 to 20 only good food !!! And my 3 sons still love it ! You can even eat 3 times a year with the Kids to taste the food !
I live in France. We believe in giving our kids whole, natural, and healthy food. Nothing from a can, bottle or box.
Lunches, dinners and even eating out at a restaurant are seen as a way to socialize with your family, friends, peers or work colleagues (this rule is even respected by teenagers who let go of their phone to talk during meals). People take at least 30 minutes to one hour to eat…that's why it is considered as rude to be interrupted during a meal by a waiter (you want some water?is not happening there…here you order and the waiter only come to take your plate and give you the next course…if you want something more you just ask).
school lunch is bad almost everywhere in france, the only few lucky students are the ones who live in small towns (people care) or go to reputed schools (higher budget)
in school we usualy have 1h break for lunch
These are not 'snails' (escargots) but 'whelks' (bulots). they are seafood.
It’s because France cares for the health of their children more than making money and these children are the future of France while US of A doesn’t give a shit about any human life even kids they care more for budget making more money and easier way out. USA should takes notes from Europe on how first world countries treat their young generation because USA schools lunches are more unhealthy disgusting and low ranking than even a third world country
In france we start school at 3 years old by obligation and we can stop going to school at 16 years old after is age we no obligation to go to school we go to school only if we want. The time for lunch is 1 hours obligate when were are kid and in middle school depending of your schedule you can have between 15 minutes to eat as 3 hours and in hught school you have obligately minimum 1 hours to eat
We don't really ate people eating fastly, but even when we finished a meal we stay at the table to chat between friends, collegues etc… meal's times are important that's all x)
And just to be clear, all schools' lunch are not that good. Even if it's true that you will have a starter, a main dish, a dessert, some cheese and a fruit in almost every school here; having a real chef as good and passionate as him is extremely rare.
I grew up in the Netherldans and the UK, it was all fine the UK was a bit shit tho
9:24 Whelks, not snails.
and yes, in France, we eat well and our body index is lower.
In France is mandatory to send the children to school starting at age 3. And yes, we eat very healthy food 🙂 is part of the global health plan: 5 fruits and vegetables by day and do sports to have a healthier population.
