  1. I watched a visit to a 1 star Michelin restaurant recently. It looked wonderful, but the 7 course meal was 285€ per person plus the cost of a bottle of wine or champagne. Now if someone else was paying I'd be there in a heartbeat but not if I have to pay that much.

  2. Leaving for Paris Monday 🇺🇸❤🇫🇷🥂✈️Thank you for all the content and great delivery. This will be my 4th visit but the most exciting to plan due to the Olympics.

  3. Arielle, you did an excellent job with this. You really excel when it comes to research and then a very accessible and detailed presentation. Brava! This is the type of Vlog that really helps people make educated choices and get the best value for their money. Meanwhile, I was salivating over some of the meals you showed! Thanks!

  4. I agree…I don't need a restaurant with a star and prefer homey, cozy types! Restaurants in France are a hit or miss like everywhere, but you certainly don't need to pay exorbitant prices for mediocre food! For me it's ambiance, price and quality! Good vlog so thx!!

  5. Thank you for your explanations of the different type of eateries in Paris.
Do Parisians have to watch their weight as the food is delicious.

  6. This is a perfectly timed video for me, as we leave Tuesday for Paris! Your explanations were very helpful, and I think we would enjoy the Restaurant Bistronomique level very much for a special but not formal night out. Thanks very much!

  7. Hi Arielle! I’m very new to your channel, this is the 3rd of your videos I’ve watched; which I’ve all enjoyed, so thank you so much for the comprehensive and informative vlogs. I will be going back to Paris in a couple of months, it will be my 8th time. ☺️ My sister is going for the first time so I shared your Pickpocket video to her. It was awesome. I never knew about the ‘bird poop’ scam, so thank you! I will now be wary of that this time around because of you. 🙏🏼 I have been wanting to go to a Bouillon and for some reason have not, but this time, I will! Thank you so much. All the best!

    PS, I’m now a subscriber. 🥰🤍

  8. Arielle, this was an excellent vlog in that it nicely laid out the types of dining experiences for all budgets. I am saving this one for my trip to Paris next year. Thanks for the great info.

  9. Thank you for very informative video. Would you kindly share address of the restaurant bistronomique you mentioned in the video?

    Thank you in advance.

  10. Great information. The best French dish I ever ate was in a bistro in Avignon. It was tiny spinach ravioli with a type of white fish (cod?) in a white wine cream sauce baked in a crock. Heavenly. I tried duplicating it at home but it wasn’t nearly as good.

  11. Where would a brasserie fit it to the scheme. I had a delicious light lunch of potage and bread a something that billed itself as a brasserie. It was not expensive and seemed to also be comparable to a pub where people might go just for a beer or drink

  12. This is an informative video. 3-star Michelin cost us $1500 USD (1380 euros) for 2. A favorite bistrot is Alain Ducasse's 1-star bistrot in the 4th, Benoit. Last time was approx $525 (480 euros) for 3. However, many of our favorite bistrots are about 50-60 eruros for 2 with wine. Bouillon Chartier is a must!

  13. We took the advice of our hosts for a place nearby in the 19th to eat. Believe me, you can't go wrong with a local's recommendation. We ended up having dinner there twice because everything about it was wonderful, including the pricetag.
