On June 5, CBS 8 and Rady Children’s held a “Working Fur Kids” Giveathon, encouraging donations from the community to help raise much-needed funds to launch a Resident Canine Therapy Program to help ease the pain and suffering of children who are patients at Rady Children’s Hospital, California’s largest non-profit children’s hospital.

Surf Rider Foundation uh the the the surf Museum up in Oceanside so there’s a limit on these I don’t do them unlimited so there’s only six a year and this is going to be one of them wow so think about how incredibly unique this is but you can only make this happen if you are the highest donor today so we need you to donate today to make this happen to have a resident K9 Therapy Program at R Children’s Hospital they’re one of the top 10 children’s hospitals in the country and most Children’s Hospitals have some type of Resident K9 Therapy Program but R children’s does not but you know what you can make that happen today with your donation and every dollar counts but hey you want to make every dollar really really count you want to be the highest bitter get in on cooking with sea donations you need let’s make it $5,000 he’s going to take all of his friends or tell all of his friends in the kennel to donate as well it’s about spreading the word it’s about donating telling your friends telling your family you don’t have to be a dog owner but you can all and you don’t have to have a child as well you want to make that difference in a child’s life who’s being treated at a hospital that can be very a scary situation for them and to be able to provide that Comfort this is what this resident K9 program can do they are specially trained dogs medically trained dogs who can respond and treat a child will be built into their treatment plan to be able to provide that comfort and also that distraction so please call in we have super Denis our awesome sponsors that are here
