welcome back to bordo life today you’re going to get an insight into how hectic our life is at the moment we’re at the passion project everything went swimmingly with our first clients ever in the passion project they were very private people and very respectful people we’ve been very lucky because they’ve given us the house back in perfect condition of course we’re going to clean but you know that’s we couldn’t ask for better clients to be fair I’m going to get the sheets and then we’ve got to get off and get to lero melan before we go to the based in Bordeaux so weather’s bad again we’ve had bad weather since October H we have we have a lot of rain lately let’s grab these sheets and get going you go too fast Dad I know got a lot to do at least the rain’s kind of stopped okay so we cheated there were a few more sheets than what I’ve got in my hand it’s a full car it is right I’m going to lock up and let’s get going have you finished uh cleaning that very expensive uh Cannon lens with the inside of your jumper I have I have cuz it was raining so I got the front of the lens wet okay um I found something really important out about my old shoes that I’m using as work shoes and what is that that they’re not waterproof oh I’m so glad to hear that D they’re going in the bin when we get home okay let’s go to uh Leroy uh get a few things and then we’ll go see what Lou’s been up to at the build and then I got work to do at the build sounds good [Music] sa Lou yeah mer see it’s looking good yeah little B little by little I know a lot of you have been waiting to see this point where we actually start picking up the outside and getting it right or should I say Louie starts picking up the outside and getting it right I think uh sir’s possibly going to come and give a hand as well uh um but it’s starting to look good it’s not looking as disastrous as it was when we first bought the place you starting to see where you know we’re going to have to replace certain Stones maybe just put a bit of what the French call Plage on other Stones um but that’s what Louis’s job is today he’s discovering what what there is and what we’ve got to work with yeah but some of them are very nice and cool yeah I quite like this you know it’s looks old and when it’s jointed up it’ll look all right U maybe some people would go through and and and completely replace this stone or it’s just not the way I do it I like to keep it old looking uh here for example Anna if you come in close I was talking to Lou before here we’re going to do what the French called placard so a thin Slither of stone stuck on with resin same maybe for a little bit of this Stone we might have to cut some of this Stone out same again but let’s come over here cuz it’s a bit disastrous I think Lou had fun finding out this but yeah it’s this is this Stone here is going to have to be replaced this Stone here is going to have to be replaced this one I don’t think we too bad and then this one has to be replaced here I think I’m going to just cut in some placards because if I replace this Stone we’re going to have this problem here yeah this is a nicely kind of shaped piece of stone I don’t have the tools for shaping it and okay we’ve lost a little bit here but again once jointed up it will look fine uh so maybe one here afterwards if we step back a bit and I’ll tell you about up top up top there’s not a huge amount to do to the stone so we’re just going to spray it with uh javel so bleach it basically and it’ll all come really nice and clean Louis seeing a damsel in this dress somebody’s struggling to drive don’t zoom in on the number plate it’s embarrassing but she’s having a tough time driving or there’s a problem with a car and we want the check and Lou is going to to the rescue he’s such a night in shining armor isn’t he he’s a gentle man so there he goes well we couldn’t film that’s why Lou is doing this cuz we yeah we the revs keep going to about 5,000 so I’m going to stay here cuz I don’t want any want to see the number plate and hopefully Lou will manage he’s going to talk to her you can see it with the corner of my eye here we don’t know we’re going to find out soon what’s going on okay so up top here there’s not much to do with the stone uh just need to bleach it is there anything else so I don’t think there’s anything else to talk about there isn’t there Ed cuz I think I can see something beautiful okay so yeah uh Jules has put the windows in for us up top he’s still got something to put in downstairs but um I think he’s doing that tomorrow so we’ll get a better look at it how it’s going to look and how bright it’s going to be in there after tomorrow so next week’s Vlog probably let’s see Lou Lou coming back Lou coming back he’s got his phone out did he get her number or no that is the question I don’t think he has the right to have a number so hope not I’m going to stop now filming sa had the old woman was almost uh crushing his car just to go out so IED to help her but she said I cannot see with one high this is why okay have a nice day I saw you touch in your phone Lou did you get her number yes she think she told me like I’m so lonely lonely anyway sun shining it’s not been shining all day Lou going to get on with his work now cuz yeah because he ringed lot this morning yes it did so again there will be another piece of wood to make it into a cross of wood on the window so it’ll look really old um and we’ve got the little kind of piece of metal or 2/3 of the piece of metal that can go back on the front it’s not going to be a um a barrier anymore because the windows only open at the top BL is working outside yeah um I come inside because we’re going to get blocked all of a sudden on what we can do upstairs we just got a little bit of material we need to buy and and I kind of want to do that after what I really want to get on with is getting this outside finished off and so next job is to prep the outside shutters so that when we’ve done the stone work and we put the hooks back in for the shutters uh we can pop the shut shutters on as well uh we’re going to get the okay Jules is going to get the windows in probably tomorrow like I said and then I’m going to just white wash the windows so nobody can see in just the windows downstairs because the shutters are not going to be on after that and uh I mean it’s breaking and entering if you break a double glaze window you know you’re breaking an entering so normally the squatters wouldn’t come back um so yeah I just want to try and get the shutters prepped so that as soon as possible we can get the shutters back on and it’s a bit more secure again so I got uh a nice big box of gloves there’s one problem though on a what that’s small size not large that’s perfect you got to struggle for once every time they’re too big for me and now for once you’re going to see what it is they’re not the right size no I’m not because you’re going to do the painting and I’m going to film you well when did I agree to that you didn’t I just decided no I’m only joking I got nice big gloves for myself I just I just like went silent there for now like oh my goodness no yeah and I’ve not bought any Trestle I have to see if there’s any left over I can’t remember um one thing I was going to say was people probably say why aren’t you getting on with upstairs I’ve just been to the osteopath so I think what the Americans call chiropractors um and I’m a little bit tired so uh yesterday I went so uh I just want to do a nice easy job which is painting these shutters so yeah still working yeah I was told not to do anything but I can’t not do anything that’s an that’s a good solution oh yeah they come in handy these little plastic chairs haven’t they they do I think my mle my uh thing might be a bit too wide but it’s raining again Sor I can hear it wow that vein is so heavy eh are we March or are we may well unbelievable so I’ve gone for Von so v33 is kind of like is that the brown yeah it’s a high-end uh DIY paint so not professional but high-end and normally I was always told you start with primer then the coat and then your top coat I was ready to tell you off I know and I thought well best mention it before everyone writes in the comments in fact I shouldn’t have mentioned it then i’ got loads of comments uh so basically I looked on the back of this and it says to go direct onto wood so no just as long as it’s not Dusty which is not um yeah and we can just start painting okay and the good thing is because of all that rain maybe Lou can help you so both boys can be painting there’s Lou there hiding in the background no come in cuz it’s really heavy right now actually I’m going to use the roller I’m lazy you sure well maybe L can cut in with the brush yeah how many men does it take to undo a roller undo a roller yeah uh okay Lou pado okay let’s have a little look uh so if you do the cutting in Lou I’ll do the rollering and then when it’s time to move it we’re just going to move it cuz it’s only the first coat it doesn’t matter if we make fingerprints hopefully these are a great product don’t know whether they have them in the UK and the states but these little throwaway trays that fit perfectly into your tray so you’re not always buying new trays you know if somehow somebody forgets to clean the tray there’s two some bues it’s seral isn’t it yes it’s vog he’s an artist sometimes his head is another in another way oh yeah Louie how’s the uh how’s the bush watering going yeah that’s that’s about right isn’t it did answer that he watering them aren’t you yes well well I think with the week we’ve got I don’t really need to I’m not even sure you need to cut in Lou I think I can roll if you maybe do the edges the edges the Sal Li Li liqu I don’t think anyone just saw what I did but that’s fine no we didn’t well I didn’t I just dribbled a lead of paint but then just rolled it Lou don’t sit in this these could be a technique couldn’t it yeah Louie don’t sit in these chairs after because uh you’ll get paint all over you well I already got L the NST too yes I do hot well yeah that’s a point how how far off are you Louie because I’m I’m kind of answering comments before they get asked here how far off are you on having your shop uh I think uh few weeks I’m going to have the keys of the shop and then some more yes as I’ve got some orders for weddings stuff like that but I don’t do too many communication because first I want to work on the shop do all the building stuff prepare everything I’m buying the all the stuff I need tables and uh so yeah I’m quite excited about to see how is everything inside the shop because I want to I don’t know how to say that to break the PLO mhm the yeah and uh reveal the the the stone yeah the stone behind the bordo Stone like I’m doing outside so I’m scared about what I’m going to find behind the the plco you seen how kind I am guys I’m letting him work on the stone here so he knows exactly what to do in his shop yeah but I already did it upstairs so now I know you’re an expert now no no that’s the point he’s not an expert just yet he’ll probably be an expert when he’s finished here yes so I I can’t do sorry I can do it bad here and good in my shop that’s yes you learn you’re learn in here so you better there oh yeah I’m very see that tomorrow well or the day after I just wanted to talk about the elephant in the room which is yes we didn’t finish it for April like I said I was going to do oh no one said anything about that but it’s good that you’re addressing it but the thing is that you set yourself a very hard yeah and what happened was come about mid March I think I kind of knew we weren’t going to do it so um as S as soon as we had to go back to the shadow we went back to the shatow to get things ready for the uh for the season so unfortunately this has to go on back burner we probably won’t finish this now till I think October November something like that or it could be before but who knows before is a bonus but I’m not going to kill myself trying to do it we’ve got too much going on at the shadow at the moment so we’re just going to keep on top of things at the chatow and when we can come here so we’re going to try and keep to one Vlog a week now aren’t we Anna yeah so at least we can try and keep out that termin in and I’m going to try not to do to many flower Vlogs well now you’re going to cause a a debate in the comments AR no no no not just that it’s like maybe I should do some shorts with flowers or some other things cuz they’re a different thing yeah and we’ll probably do a you know what let’s do another barbecue uh live as well because when I’m doing barbecue we’ve got uh we’ve always got time to chat haven’t we during a barbecue so so we will do that too Lou I’m going to move this and then get on with the next one and you can finish off that over there if you want yep okay so if I take it at the [Music] side a very delicate operation yeah well basically it’s got two more coats we don’t really care too much about the floor so if anything dribbles on the floor it’s not the end of the world this is hand painting by the way oh yeah let me just deal with the mess I made on that I’m Still Loving the quality of these shutters and the the idea of putting like very uh hard wood at the top and the bottom and then just Pine in between because it just means that you know it’s it’s cheaper and just going to last exactly the same time so you know what I was thinking as well mhm jewel is very capable yeah Jewel’s the guy that does the windows yes is very capable definitely um and I was thinking if we ever get onto our dream of building a house I thought that maybe we could get jewels on board yes to make the woodwork you know we we’re obviously going to want to put some woodwork inside some molding and all of that lot MH and he’ll know how to do it and make it look correct rather than just botching you know and uh it’s not going to be the cheapest but it’s do he’d do a really good job I think yes you’re right and by then blue will be an expert by then Lou no by then Lou will have his shop Lou will have shops where by then Lou will have his shops in Paris uh New York and pekam pekham is that a place in England it’s a place in London it’s for the guys in the UK well I thought Only Fools and Horses oh [Music] no I don’t know okay I thought well maybe in well somewhere like bone Street or something but yeah I’ve never been to London so if anybody want to make me a visit make you a visit I don’t know what to say you wants to invite Lou if anyone wants to invite Lou from England you are going to be in real trouble there Lou you’re going to get about kind they are so we’re probably going to get in trouble for putting so much of painting a shutter on the Vlog because we got in trouble for putting so much of planting plants well no it’s painting and chatting so just painting exactly yeah exactly and it’s giving updates on what we’re doing yep double job but I think it’s not raining anymore yeah the sun is out he trying to go outside trying to work on his town well summer is coming little good well either that or I think he’s said that lady come back maybe both maybe both you’re talking about the the driver the Formula One driver oh what a strong man yeah just hope my osteopath isn’t watching because the Vlogs areful enough he does watch the Vlogs oh I think he checks on me who uh my yeah oh they look beautiful only another two coats to go I know but we won’t I mean we will be doing it but we I we won’t be well filming it anymore sh pain no we have to film it all because there we got a great comment that said that that’s the problem with our Channel you don’t see everything happening well here we go be ready for 10 hours of painting shutters guys look at what they were like and just now just quickly one quick coat and they look so nice so I think we’re going to keep them all white the front door’s a different story and we need to make a decision on that there are certain colors were allowed with the front door I know that we can paint them that kind of blue gray that we used at the passion project but I just think in town most people have them white and I’d like to blend in rather than to stand out as you know look at us we’ve we’ve done ours blue so I think we’ll keep them white keep the windows white and then the front door we’ll figure out could keep it blue we could go on something else but it actually needs sand blasting before we do anything else we now are going to head off well when I finish I’m going to probably do another pair of shutters I know that you’re going to be bored your going be editing you’re going to be editing in the car I think um so fil finish doing these shutters for the downstairs at least then it just carries on for as we run back pick the kids up once we pick the kids up we have to
