With only 2 tsp of rice bran oil for the fries, this heart healthy fish and chips can be enjoyed anytime. The batter for the fish is light and contains not fats, and is also very good for making onion rings with as well. You can serve this just as fish and chips, or with a healthy green salad. I didn’t need any sauces on mine as the seasonings were more than enough. Come one, let’s get cooking………

Fresh Ingredients:
1 fillet of Tarakihi
2 Agria, Russet or Maris Piper potatoes

For the batter:
1/2 cup of plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Good grind of black pepper
1 egg
1/2 cup of apple scrumpy cider
1 heaped tsp of Moroccan Seasoning

For the French fries:
2 tsp rice bran oil
1 heaped tsp of fries seasoning from the Gourmet Collection

this is fish and chips the chips are
done in the air fryer the fish are
shallow fried all heart friendly there’s
all our potato chips now we’re going to
plunge them into water and we’ll just
keep rinsing and repeting until that
water runs clear we will make the batter
for our fish half a cup of flour
teaspoon of baking powder 1/4 of a
teaspoon of salt one heaped teaspoon of
our Moroccan seasoning and add in our
egg here we go with the cider
