Female chef Yoshiko Takemasa is so fastidious that she only cooks fish caught by rods, not nets, to ensure no bruising.

Pretty sure every female challenger has chosen Chen lmao
13:45 It's an Albany expression
So fun to finally watch in high quality. Thank you! 👍🔪👨🍳
Is Chen’s not the best thing ever when this ingredient is revealed???
RIP Kandagawa-san.
It's weird to see Takata only being one of the judges and not the commentator as well.
I love female chefs
They keep putting their fingers in the food, in their mouth, and back in the food. I don't even do that with my family.
Always found it kind of mind boggling and strange. In most societies the traditional "role" for a female has said to be "in the kitchen" yet the field of "Professional Chef" and even cooks in diners and such are mostly male. You can really see this in all its messed up ways when you watch like Hell's Kitchen, the way the male chefs, not all mind you but a lot of them, speak about the female chefs. Personally I have no idea why gender should impact cooking skills one way or another so it really does baffle me at times.
Cooking like a man 😅
"I stopped being a woman… I'm not much of a looker." I can't even imagine the hardships this woman has had to overcome to succeed in her field. While she believes she needs to rely on her taste to impress people, I think it's her strength to preserve which truly makes her shine.
I love these Kandagawa-san episodes.
"The kitchen stadium is leaking!"
I thought you said we were having steamed clams.
