The Original Farmers Market is a sprawling historic market and what I consider to be the best food hall in Los Angeles. It’s home to a range of food stalls, trendy shops & gourmet grocery purveyors. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, and has been a fixture in the city for nearly 90 years.

The market was founded in 1934, when two entrepreneurs had the idea to invite local farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers. The concept was a hit, and the market soon became a popular spot for people to find fresh, locally-grown food. Over the years, the market has grown to include a wide variety of vendors, including butchers, bakers, cheesemongers, fishmongers, and prepared food stalls.

Today, the Original Farmers Market is a major tourist attraction, and it is estimated that over 4 million people visit the market each year. The market is open seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

You can see they’re carving up more of the American style Meats instead of the Brazilian style meats and now let’s go down this middle aisle that we haven’t checked out yet another coffee shop The Coffee corner some cool like old school Blue Table Vibe we’ve got Phil’s Deli

  1. You reminded me I need to pay another visit to Farmers Market/The Grove. It's been about a year. The last time I went was when I had a doctor's appointment in that part of town.

  2. I spent many childhood summer days at Farmer’s Market having pizza and ice cream and exploring. It’s still a favorite.

  3. love this place. was there last year and the year before it is a awesome place. Its like the Reading Terminal in Philly but open air.

  4. Get parking validation from the Container Store or Cost Plus! I think it’s 90 minutes of free parking with validation!

  5. I love all the variety of food stalls at this farmer's market! I probably would have a difficult time deciding which place I would get food from.

  6. Chris, thank you! I've only ever seen vids of the Grove, this place looks great! If/when we do LA we'll definitely check this out.

  7. Hey Chris, Have you ever done a live stream yet on immigration forms they give you before arriving to a foreign country? They are always confusing sometimes.

  8. I was always there in the 60s and 70s. Loved it then looks more modern now but a must see. Hopefully when I get back to LA.

  9. That looks amazing 😋 I wouldn't pay $700 for a piece of meat if I was a millionaire. That's ridiculous.
