Let us show you how to cook frozen hamburger patties in the air fryer…

Hey everybody so tonight i am going to be doing some frozen hamburger patties in my dormia digital french door airfryer i just wanted to try this out and i’m excited to give this a try and i’m just going to follow the tips here it does down here on this particular

Model it does say if you’re cooking for with the wings or bacon and other greasy foods to use your airfry basket along with your baking tray just to catch all the extra grease and stuff so Obviously i’m gonna go ahead and put this in here i do already have my crumb tray in there and i’m gonna put this one on like the second to bottom little rung here i’m going to leave this tray out while it’s preheating just so i can handle it easier with my

Patties so i’m going to go ahead i already have it plugged in and everything and i found a pretty simple recipe on pinterest as far as like the temperature and stuff like that so i believe I’m just gonna set we’re gonna be air frying today and i’m gonna set my temperature at 350. Oops and time it did say on my recipe that i found about 15 minutes you’re gonna flip your patties you know halfway through so i’m gonna go ahead and just adjust my time to 15 minutes and i’m gonna hit the play pods button down here and it’s gonna go ahead and preheat and

Then once it’s done preheating we’ll be ready to put the patties in the airfryer all right so it is ready to add the food into the airfryer and on my particular model i was only able to fit four patties on here i didn’t season them just because they

Are frozen and i figured the seasoning wouldn’t stick very well so i’m going to go ahead and get these in here and be very careful when you open that and i’m putting this just on the second knot or the notch just above where i had the baking tray

And so i’m just going to close that and yeah here in about seven minutes or so i will go ahead and flip them over all right so it is time for me to flip them over i’m going to go ahead and hit the play pause button here and it’s

Going to stop my time i’m going to grab a spatula here and just be in an oven mitt and just be really careful when you’re doing this because it is going to be really hot and you want to make sure that your patties are going to be at an internal temperature of 160

Degrees while you’re when it’s finished cooking and everything so yeah you just flip all these over And then you’ll continue the cooking process here and all of the airfrying models do as far as like cook temperatures and times and stuff like that so we’ll see how this goes here but i’m gonna go ahead and push the play button again oops and it’ll continue right where it left

Off so i’ll be back in about seven minutes all right don’t mind my daughter in the background she’s just really excited i’m going to go ahead and check the temperature on these i am not very confident that they’re done yet but that’s why you always double check

And if they’re not done i’ll go ahead and put them in you know i’ll probably raise the temperature a little bit and put them in for a little bit longer uh so just definitely once again be careful when you open these because it’s going to be really hot because yeah you want it

At 160 degrees of an internal temperature here and these are gonna be hard to check but i think we’re a little close i know we were close on that one have you told the legend so i for my sake i am gonna go ahead let me just check these back ones here too

Yeah i’m gonna go ahead and just put these back in here for i’m gonna do probably maybe another five minutes because we’re just we’re about 15 degrees from where we need to be as far as temperature wise so i’m just going to go ahead and do airfry again

And i’m going to put my tent back at 350 like it said and like i said i’m gonna do about five minutes here just to be on the safe side and i’m gonna hit the play pause button again and it is gonna go ahead and tell you to

Add the food but we obviously have already done that so it’s just gonna start it’s cooking and the countdown process here so i will be back in another five minutes all right so once again it has ended the cook process so i’m going to double check my temperature again uh i’m

Fairly confident that we’re good to go here and they’ll be all cooked through and at the right temperature so all right so yeah i did double check all that and they are good to go so i’m going to just go ahead and take out both the baking tray i’m going to try to

And the burgers at once here i might not be able to grab them both at once i don’t know it’s not steaming that way so with that being said i’ll probably try to take off i’ll just take out this one first and then you can see on the juiciness on that

Not that you wanted to but you know just get that one out of the way and set them on a pot holder and then set these guys on top here so yeah just the main thing is to just make sure that it’s cooked all the way through and that is the

Version that i found to cook frozen hamburger patties and the airfryer

  1. I've been a chef for 26yrs, majority of automated temp and time cooking appliances will finish cooking when the item of food is 80-90% cooked. carryover cooking into your mealtime calculations is that it’s not an exact science. Unlike baking, which is a bit more precise, carryover cooking on the grill gives you far more wiggle room.
However, you can count on a few consistencies when it comes to planning for carryover cooking:
Thin meats will have far less carryover cooking than thicker cuts of steak. A thin chop’s internal temperature may only slide up one or two degrees Fahrenheit after you take it off the grill. On the other hand, a large chunk of protein’s carryover could exceed 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
Carryovers tend to be more pronounced when you’re cooking hot and fast. If you’re babysitting a brisket low and slow for hours, you’re probably not going to see much of a carryover.
The carryover cooking period is finished after about 15-20 minutes. Therefore, you can expect the internal temperature of the meat to begin declining after resting for 15 minutes. s
You’ll want to remove the meat from your smoker or grill when the meat is about five degrees Fahrenheit less than desired. For instance, if you want your T-bone to be medium rare and 130 degrees Fahrenheit at plate-time, cook it until it registers 120-125 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you’re going to maximize carryover cooking, remove the meats even earlier and tent them with foil. The foil tent helps the carryover last longer and can add several degrees to the meat’s internal temperature.
Don’t expect much carryover if you slap a grilled steak onto a cold platter. Thanks to science and the laws of thermodynamics, the platter will steal away a lot of heat, and you won’t get as much carryover magic.

  2. Thank you this really helped me. I just bought this air fryer and reading instructions make my head spin! So I'm so glad you made it so simply. 🥰

  3. Thanks for showing me that because I didn't even understand the pause button and when I tried to cook something using that pan when I wanted to use the air fryer things didn't work out so well. At least I understand the buttons a little more and what to do. Why I thought I needed this fancy one I'm not sure. It's just me.

  4. great video very instructional and helpful ..I bought one and I don't know how to operate, but after I saw this helpful video , I going to start making hamburgers too…thank you

  5. I have a Kalorik Maxx that looks similar, mostly was not sure which rack to use so this was really helpful 🙂

  6. Spray frozen patties with a little avocado oil cooking spray and add seasoning. It will add flavor as well as help the edges crisp up nicely during cooking.

  7. Hi. Ive never had an air fyer before. Looking to buy one. All the recipes that i see are in the bucket type air fryer. Would you follow the temps and cook times exactly as the bucket type of fryer? Which type do u recommend? Thanks.
