That I wanted they didn’t have any in in Leroy so we ended up getting these tiny pan PL which are like five cm and we’re just using normal pound filling them up with concrete so they become PL uh become full and uh and then placing these to get the exact height of

The steps so I’ve got a tread of 27 and uh and then a kind of height I can’t think the right word but a height of 18 so 27’s not far off a foot um and then 18 is what nearly 7 and 1 half in something like that seven inches really

Nice kind of size for stairs I’m not going to stand on them because they’re not obviously not uh dry yet but um and what I did was I basically drew a line on the wall and that’s my template that’s where I’m going to and today I’m hoping to get to this

Height because at this height we’re putting a lintl in here so it’s going to be a big lintle mhm and uh and then we can build that kind of cake slice kind of turn on the stairs that sounds really good so you’re putting a lint there and what’s going to

Go let me go here for the light underneath that lint what are you doing with the space nothing no nothing it’s empty it’s just that it saves us block if we put a lintle in there so you’re saving money saving money yeah how about cuz we wanted a toilet here yes about

Here yeah where sh show us the toilet that sit on the throne there we go oh there’s a r how about yes uh over there in the where you have that area there well the L’s here so you can’t sit there can you and don’t be silly I mean the back

Of the toilet oh okay you mean like the system that we kind of hide behind a wall yeah it might work because don’t forget we needed that step up to get the fall for the toilet uh for the soil pipe we’ll get it built and we’ll see

Okay but that’s a really good idea actually because if the throne Is Here Yeah you got enough space to get on and off and whatever you need to do and then actually it opens up on this side so you can actually have your wash basin there

Which means the door is not going to open that way it’s going to open this way so it’s quite a good idea if we can get it in well fingers crossed and and don’t forget on by the time you’re here even though the lintle is at this high you’re four

Steps higher so there’s going to there’s going to be loads of head room above it it’s just going to be like a kind of big block of concrete to there and then uh yeah so it’s going to be up here so yeah there’s more than enough head room to do

What you want there but don’t worry I’m only short but yeah for normal people right enough of that talk about toilets I need to get this next layer on and we’ve got some uh kind of concrete through there we we need to get in and Lou is getting hungry cuz it’s past

Completely off oh no and that is one of the main reasons cuz people wored like why is every closed off because we don’t want the squatters well squat in the place again yeah I don’t think they’ jump up there to be honest but they already

Screwed up but this I just yeah I don’t know how they managed it really I can’t remember how I fixed this one cuz every window and shutter was fixed differently but looking at it can’t see any kind of screws so it’s not like I’ve just put a a dodgy screw

In I’m pretty sure there was some kind of big piece of wood behind or something like that so yeah I probably have to go back onto that Vlog um and see how I how I kind of screwed all that up in fact why don’t you go back and have a look at

That Vlog and tell you how you did it you can all put it in a comment on this Vlog or how you did it maybe you didn’t do it right Ed no no I don’t I don’t really I was pretty sure that this was one of the more secure entrances but

Never mind it doesn’t change the fact that I’ve now got to reuze this kind of shutter I think they probably had a bit of a shock though cuz I think they were trying to get into sleep again and when they got in they probably realize that

Uh if we go and sleep there first thing in the morning we’re going to get woken up by people working and I think there may be a couple of tools missing um let’s hope it’s not the expensive ones but uh it’s kind of you live and learn

Don’t you you need to really really really securi places when people break in um I really can’t wait for Jules to get here and put the windows in because then you know we’re secured we’re going to have nice light to work in and everything okay let’s go grab some lunch

And we’ll carry on after lunch sounds good so we had a nightmare the other day didn’t we hna we did uh miscommunication well just kind of we we we’ve not been too good have’t we’ve been a bit tired and and so I came to delete what was on the card to check

With Anna that she downloaded it all in I and and you thought you had but you hadn’t and so we lost a load of footage from from the afternoon but you can see now the stairs have advanced unfortunately you missed everything that we did and it was quite dramatic wasn’t

It cuz we ran out of electricity at the end it was cuz we don’t have I mean people are saying why AR we put in light bulbs and things we actually don’t have electricity yet yeah we’re using the ecof flow system again not not being paid for this

Promotion so it’s it’s doing really well for us to be fair um it’s just that you know we thought we had enough battery but it ran out on us anyway the stairs you can see they’ve gone in quite well to this height uh there is one advantage to

Losing all that footage is that this is now dry from yesterday we did get to the stage where we’re ready to pour the concrete in here and create kind of we’re going to dig out a little bit on the stone here and get the concrete into this stone wall that means that the

Whole of this kind of uh level here will be well secured again it’s going to have metal in and everything so it’s going to be brilliant let’s show the steps and uh see where at what what are you doing there because I was going to film the

Steps but you’re saying come there well yeah oh you stepping on the steps how about look how nice those steps are they are nice soon enough they are very very nice soon enough we’ll be able to come up the staircase to go to the first floor instead of having to climb through
