All right, the Super Bowl is just five days away. So there’s still plenty of time to get to the grocery store and plan for what you’re going to eat during the big game here to help us out with some ideas is chef Jamie Gwen. Jamie. So good to see you again.
Hey, Kristen, I’m so glad to see you too. Thank you for having me back. Uh Walk don’t run. I should say because the food at your big game party matters, right? It’s the biggest game of the year. These are my best picks and snacks for a winning party, whether it’s two or 20.
All right, check it out. These delicious and convenient game day salad cups are perfect. If you’re looking for a healthier tailgate snack, they use crispy bacon as the base. So you’re gonna use a muffin pan turned upside down with strips of bacon and you’re gonna bake off these bacon cups,
Then you’re gonna stuff them. I used half with the Fresh Express French Blue Cheese salad kit. That’s for those of us that love blue cheese and bacon together. Who doesn’t? I filled the other half with the Fresh Express smokehouse chopped salad kit, which features barbecue croutons, Gouda cheese and a smoked baked
Dressing. It’s bacon on bacon doesn’t get any better than that. Fresh express salad kits are in the produce section of your grocery store. Of course. Now, here’s another fan favorite and a game day staple. Mind you French onion dip. I mean, it’s not a game without it. Right.
It’s not a big game without Dean’s French Onion dip. That creamy smooth dairy based texture. Just the right balance of French onion flavor. It’s ready made for a platter with chips and veggies. But I also love it as a topping on potatoes and burgers on sandwiches.
Look for it in the refrigerated section of your grocery store and stock up big before the big game. Now, Kristen, I never met anyone who doesn’t love pizza. So here are a couple of ways to enjoy it. These are all new and fabulous. They’re called Pizza Crisps from Sonoma Creamery.
They deliver the taste of pizza in just one bite. They’re a better for you. Snack from this California based company made 100% real mozzarella cheese packed with 13 g of protein per serving. They come in three craveable flavors, pepperoni, tomato basil and veggie Supreme
And I cannot get enough. And then this is my winning recipe for the year. It is my best sheet pan pizza showcasing Pearl’s garlic stuffed olives. You’ve got that subtle garlic flavor, the brininess of the olives sun dried potatoes, rosemary, delicious. You want a quality olive,
Which is why use and trust pearls specialties line of premium and imported Gourmet olives. Each olive is hand picked and hand stuffed with garlic or my favorite blue cheese and they do level up every meal. So look for that sunny yellow label.
We’ve posted the recipes, by the way at Daily lounge.com, Daily lounge.com and May the best team win. We were having a conversation before Jamie about who likes olives and I love olives on my pizza. It just gives that little bit of salty. Yes, it’s such a good combination, right? It is.
I agree with you, especially when you’ve got that like rich cheese and this is a deep dish crust. It cuts through it so perfectly like I want all the olives. I’m also posting, by the way, Kristen a chicken wing tutorial on social at chef Jamie Gwen. So please check it out
That sheep pan pizza at Daily lounge.com. Perfect. All right, you got us all planned out for Super Bowl, Jamie. We thank you so very much, so good to see you and good to see you. Thank you to all the armchair quarterbacks.
