Come It’s right Welcome back to bordo life everyone as you can see we’ve just got the um block the concrete block for building and it’s a turning point in the build we are no longer demolishing we are starting to build really have a little bit of concrete left to do just

That little outside area I’ve already prepared it and Louis says he’s getting on with I don’t know what it sounds like he’s Mixing concrete in there um so yeah we’ve got a morning of concrete pouring to do and then we’re going to probably start on the Block work

Let’s go in and see what Lou’s been up to sa Lou yes there was there a problem with the semantic no problem with the semantic but we run out of battery so I found another another solution it’s okay wow it’s pretty fast my hold on are you sure you’ve not

Had this just delivered here and pretend to mix it now no no no no I I did it like 20 minutes to do it but it’s good it’s almost three how we say that beton yeah that’s good yeah yeah cool so what else have you been up to then well look

At the work tidying up no huh tidying up what do you mean tidying the chantier yeah yeah everything is clean everything is okay okay good right so we get on with the PO then yes what no rush I put something on the clap things like you tell me you told me so

You can find it just over there I left this on Friday with lines all the lines ready to pour the concrete and I had put the drain in but I hadn’t actually put all the stone in and I hadn’t put the return valve in cuz I was going to show

Everyone where is the return valve Lou where’s it gone he’s just under the there is a kind of paper or cartoon Caron oh you put yes okay okay ah I see not bad not bad Lou not bad not bad there for me yeah I’m pretty

Happy well Ed is happy now good well I think that it’s it’s no longer my Vlog is it Lou yeah we don’t have too much left and after it can be amazing after we can run out the has taken over from the master yeah yeah this is why I would

Like to work with you I’m learning well you know what Louie uh I’m going to come for the glory let’s get it finished off quick then yeah yeah that’s cool where you up to here this looks like you need a bit more this part over there

Okay well let’s get going then let’s go oh you see pretty good HH and like that is really liquid I don’t know I think I prefer the cement mixer Spanish solution uh which one we going carry on a bit here then okay we’ll finish up this one quick

Okay to be fair it is late in the morning it’s nearly 12:00 isn’t it so in fact I don’t know it’s put the whole lot see am I doing it right Louie beautiful Master you’re the master okay it’s crazy how we forget how everything was yeah like now with the

Concrete I just I was just saying it’s it’s it’s no longer demolition time yeah when we finish this it’s then construction yeah that’s cool I I I’ve got enough with Del demolition time Just brle on up put out She miss one Coes to play What So go fore Fore [Applause] Chees I’m pushing oh So all of this area here is all coming down to the grid here same from inside it’s all all the water will head towards that grid there Grid’s slightly above the concrete because we’ve got the tiles to go on after after the concrete here we’ve decided we’re going

To replace from here onwards we’re going to replace with a 10 cm block here we can’t because the other SES they’re kind of uh worked on it on the other side and I don’t know whose wall it is I presume it’s mine but you know what instead of

Having any problems I’m just going to leave it we’re going to kind of fill in between the posts and then here we’re going to pop um P along here so like block along here block along there and it’s going to be a little little area for sitting down

In in summer so you’re going to be able to put cushions on there we’re going to extend it inside there but not inside There Lou quick thinking and hard working this morning me meant that we got that poor finish this morning and now we’re on to after a bit of lunch we’re on to taking these uh blocks in and then we’re going to get some laid out and get some laid good day work I think Master Master Okay This Got to go this Cool [Applause] That is looking really good guys however it’s nearly time to go and pick up the kids so I’m having to love you and leave you and I’ll let you both continue okay well we’re going to carry on for another hour or two here probably get quite a bit higher on that and even

Some on these walls here so next next time you come you’ll you’ll see a big advancement um we have an urgent job to do at the chatau as well uh so the next vlog’s going to be from chat Lagos not from here and Lou is going to be helping me there

  1. It has been really interesting to watch you guys doing this sort of work! Get job and I cannot wait for the next clips! Bravo!!

  2. I have previously worked in construction but I had never seen a whole slab poured without premix concrete and a truck before. This has been fabulous to see, and see that you can still get a good quality slab out of it.

  3. You should cover the outside area with a glass roof and create a conservatory (jardin d'hiver) thus augmenting your indoor living area…Just an idea

  4. I love the way you call it a tiny house. It’s not your castle size but I wouldn’t call it small 😆

  5. Louie is great work partner Edd! You are lucky to have him. In all honesty … this property is in extremely poor condition and so excited to see how you all rescue it and bring it back to a beautiful life for a family. All the best. Love Louie's personality and how he is learning great skills from Edd. Enjoyed it greatly!!! All the best!

  6. Nice to get som glimpses of the city! What a scare when you couldn’t see the valve😮 exciting to see a wall coming up👍👏👏 how about insulation? (We’re having -14 here in Stockholm 🥶) cheering you on! 😄🇸🇪

  7. I gotta tell ya Ed, that Louie is getting pretty handy knocking out the work and taking things in his own hands , while the boss is out, it`s gonna be so nice to not see dirt.

  8. Ed here in most of the States we have never seen housing like this, built of stone and conected together, is this typical housing for the average family? If a house is built of stone here we call it a castle, and there ain`t very many, it`s all wood construction and either bricked or some sort of siding, with a shingled roof, not tiles, all the best guys.

  9. Louis is a diamond in the rough, everything is taking shape now, team work wins the day… take care.

  10. If any of the "back yard" walls are along the street, I'd want a gate or hatch of some kind as a secondary fire escape. But that's just me.

  11. Ed a friend of mine had a little courtyard garden like your describing. Can you leave little alcoves in the walls for tea light holders? It would be so pretty 😀

  12. En effet, Louis est une très bonne personne. Ils font une bonne équipe tous les deux .

  13. Two brilliant hardworking handsome young men and a brilliant camera lady what more can we need is it not time for one of those see how far we have come videos you have knocked bricks out of walls so fast best wishes from Lynda
