Noy, a Laotian and her French husband Patrick, created the Villa Maydou hotel in 2005
around a project to restore 3 UNESCO World Heritage buildings. It now comprises six Lao-
colonial buildings with 33 rooms in 2 categories, Heritage and Tradition, as well as a private
residence Maison Houng Chan with 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, indoor garden with
swimming pool, outdoor lounge and kitchen, which can accommodate up to 6 people.
The Villa Maydou hotel also boasts a swimming pool with lounge bar, a restaurant and a
pleasant massage salon.
