There are several locations of Bondi Boulangerie in Sydney, but I visited their new bakery which is located near Circular Quay, at 27 Macquarie Place Park, in the heart of Sydney’s central business district (CBD).

The location is just a few blocks away from Circular Quay, which is a major transportation hub in Sydney and a popular tourist destination. From Circular Quay, you can take a ferry to various scenic spots in Sydney, such as Manly Beach, Taronga Zoo, and Watsons Bay.

The Bondi Boulangerie near Circular Quay is a convenient stop for a quick breakfast, lunch, or snack before or after your ferry ride. They offer a range of freshly baked pastries, bread, sandwiches, and coffee, as well as salads and quiches. The location is also known for its beautiful window displays of pastries and baked goods.

The Sydney CBD location of Bondi Boulangerie is open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm, and is closed on weekends and public holidays. It’s worth noting that the hours of operation may vary, so it’s always a good idea to check their website or social media pages for the latest information.

The owners of Bondi Boulangerie are French couple David and Stephanie Bitton. David is a trained chef and restaurateur who has worked in some of the best restaurants in France, while Stephanie is a qualified pastry chef. The couple moved to Australia in the late 1990s and opened their first café and restaurant, Bitton Gourmet, in Alexandria, Sydney, in 2000. They later opened a second Bitton Gourmet café in Oatley, in Sydney’s southern suburbs.

In 2011, the couple opened Bondi Boulangerie to bring a touch of French culinary tradition to the Bondi community. The bakery has since become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, with its authentic French pastries and bread baked fresh daily on site.

In addition to their successful culinary ventures, David and Stephanie Bitton have also published several cookbooks, including “Bitton: A French-inspired café cookbook” and “Bitton: Gourmet recipes and culinary tales from the heart of Sydney”.
