The Masters of Lyonnais Flavors
A film written and directed by Sandrine Bagarry
Lyonnais gastronomy became famous in the 19th century with the “Lyonnaise mothers”. These cooks who have become restaurateurs are at the origin of traditional, generous and gourmet cuisine. Today, Lyon is experiencing another culinary revolution with a new generation of chefs who are taking over this rich terroir to magnify it, reinvent it. Among them, two women, Tabata Mey, a Brazilian chef trained by Paul Bocuse and Connie Zagora, a Swedish chef, introduce us to their inventive and original cuisine, as well as their favorite producers, fishmonger, creamer, market gardener and winemaker.
