World-first. Bringing indigenous food know-how to every table.

It has been a journey to come to this day.

“We think food really helps discover different cultures” says Jacques Lepron Co-Founder of Delidoor, “…so bringing First Nation cuisine to every home was a no brainer”.
Indigenous cuisine is true genius. It takes from the earth only what’s necessary. Its ingredients are on our doorstep and have been for thousands of years. Almost every native ingredient can be considered ‘superfood’, with exceptional flavour and nutritional properties that are good for our tastebuds and our health.

We partnered with the truly fantastic Indigenous Chef, Aunty Beryl Van-Oploo.
As a Gamilaroi Elder, she has over 50 years of culinary know-how, deep knowledge of native ingredients, and is an expert at modernising Bush Tucker cuisine.
“We’ll be bringing the Indigenous food to the table which has never been done before, so everybody has a chance to try it and not worry about accessing the ingredients” says Chef Aunty Beryl.
With our French Executive Chef, Sebastien Houillon, they’ve co-created 5 tasty meals for you to enjoy in the comfort of your home.
A world-first.

Imagine a Barramundi marinated with Lemon Myrtle and Finger Limes in Paper Bark just right there in your freezer. Simply cook it at home in your oven between two sheets of Paperbark provided with the dish.

Or think about a French “Ratatouille”, full of sunny flavours, in which you discover the nutritious texture of Quandong and the earthy taste of Salt Bush, packed with protein.

Launched this Reconciliation Week, the meals will stay on our menu through the year, and each meal will help funding an important project that Chef Aunty Beryl is working on: EORA (meaning “Home“ in Gadigal language), an Aboriginal Elders Estate, with a circular building plan for elders of the Indigenous community to retire, because as Chef Aunty Beryl says, “This is for elders and I think there’s not much around for us”.

We acknowledge Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
