This was basically the life of serial murderer Charles Sobhraj aka The Bikin Killer, aka The Serpent. Sobhraj is a Vietnamese-Indian by birth and French national by adoption. He turned a sentence for homicide in India into a life of leisure while at the same time evading prosecution for a bunch of crimes and murders around the world, acts that would’ve easily landed him with a death sentence.
