The Gare Maritime Food Market is now open at Tour & Taxis. The new space features 10 restaurants and bars run by some of Belgium’s top chefs and mixologists.

The Food Market is operated by brewer AB InBev and hosts a diverse selection of eateries, including XGreen, where veggies are the stars of the show; Carne, all about burgers; 140! an upscale friture also featuring croquettes, gratins and potato buns; and Just Graze, with platters of fine meats and cheeses.

The new space is dedicated to local businesses and does not host international chains. All restaurants procure products locally and contribute to a sustainable food chain in some way.

Pieter Anciaux, AB InBev’s Catering Manager, said: “As a Belgian brewer, we are very proud of this achievement. This is a special way to experience Belgium’s world-famous culinary and beer culture in a unique environment. “
The Gare Maritime Food Market is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12.00 to 22.00 or 23.00.

À l’heure où la folie des halles gourmandes s’accroît en Europe, une nouvelle venue va faire son apparition dans la capitale belge. Étalé dans l’enceinte de l’immense Gare Maritime du site Tour & Taxis à Bruxelles, il deviendrait de par sa surface le plus grand food market du continent. Rendez-vous le 26 novembre à 18h30 !

Unis par les liens sacrés de l’amour de la bouffe, le géant de la bière AB InBev et le développeur immobilier Extensa lancent pour la première fois un gigantesque food market dans la Gare Maritime du site Tour & Taxis à Bruxelles. Dès le 26 novembre prochain (comme révélé dans un communiqué de presse publié il y a quelques heures par Tour & Taxis), une dizaine de restaurants, des terrasses couvertes et des comptoirs à manger peupleront ce qui deviendra probablement la plus grande halle gourmande d’Europe.
